It has a surge protector, it makes sure it doesn't draw too much current. It does not protect your car battery being drained , the Chinese one protects the car battery by shutting off once the battery drains too low That's why they sent this to you and made sure you said the Chinese version is worse even though even this version compressor was made in Asia.
that's not a storage port for your cords that's a place to put a battery. I have the exact same cooler but in 37 quart just got my battery yesterday and it's amazing!
They are just positive and negative wires behind that also so you can make your own attachment and connect it to whatever buy you want to buy for it. Can use clips and get big car battery for it. Then get small solar panel for 1 battery setup maybe motorcycle battery or lawn mower any one you want.
This is a customized Alpicool TWW75 (which also has the LG compressor). It comes in a smaller and larger size as well. That storage spot is for the optional removable lithium battery. You can charge the battery via solar, and can probably get it from alpicool if you wanted one.
it will only work with solar panels if you buy the optional battery that plugs into that area that this guy thought was a storage compartment for cords. I have the same cooler and just got my battery the other day the solar panels will be my next purchase.
This is awesome. I’m looking forward to eating ice cream while camping in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for the video! Just looked up the dimensions, wish they made a shorter one. Would love one that can fit on my bed slide under the tonneau cover. 16” max
Thought I would point out that Newair has a storefront on Amazon. You mention Amazon several times in your presentation but only when referencing the less expensive model in the back of your truck.
There are many good quality dual zone fridges out there but, I don't remember any review that mentions about the reversible lids, neither a safe place to keep the power cables. Those two are huge conveniences.
@Kayak USA What is the lowest temperature? How soon(hours) after plug in would loaded item frozen? What is the lifespan of the product? Is the lifespan programmed? Can it work when the environment temp is>30°C Can it repaired? How does it work?(simple parts and wiring diagram) After switch off, how long does it keep items frozen?
its interesting you consider these to be an 'upmarket' fridge where you are. These are sold as 'brass monkey' branded fridges here in Australia and are considered a low budget fridge. I have several and have been happy with each of them but people would laugh at you if you referred to one as top shelf here :)
I have a Taco too, was really happy this thing fit under my diamondback toneu cover. It fits on the right side near the power outlet too so perfect for short trips to tailgating or weekend camping trips. I have a jackery 500w w the solar panels also, can't wait to see how that performs on a week long trip this Summer.
Can you connect it with a digital watt monitor to test how many watts it draws. It would also be interesting to see if there is a difference in watts depending on the voltage thats hooked up to it. Maybe 120vac is more efficient. This info would be helpful to a lot so they can plan their trip better. Thank appreciate the review
So it will run on nothing but solar even if the unit battery is died / bad? Can u switch out batteries from the unit? I been looking at the lion solar cooler combo its got replacement batteries and solar but biggest one is 50 quart. this one here is big and dual zone but no replacement batteries i cant decide now i seen this video.
Man...lost me at LG compressor. I'll never buy LG again after dealing with their customer service when my fridge compressor went out. I went without a fridge for 3 months because of LG.
Same with my LG tv and brand new dishwasher... LG sucks. I don't know how they stay in business but they keep screwing over enough people and the tide will turn
At least you came to your senses and ditched the Yeti, overrated and overpriced. Plus you lose half the space to ice, so a 75 ltr cooler is really only around 40ltr and everything gets wet and soggy after a few days, With a freezer you can make your own ice whenever you want. Yeti owners care more about the ice in the cooler than the food and drink in the cooler, "Ooohhh, look, there is some ice in the cooler after 4 days", then don't mention the water got into the butter and steaks. I got the 55ltr version for $229 today, so I can now call Yeti owners 'Peasants'. I will get the internal battery and solar panel later so it can run itself 24/7.
Do not buy this cooler I had 8 of them from April to September cause a shipping stuff back getting the wrong stuff I got what time a wine cooler that's not what I bought I just set that back another time I got a 96 ice maker soda can't cool send that back that's not what I ordered it's a piece of junk I couldn't not freeze a tray of ice
This thing is a piece of garbage I had 8 of them in my house return return return could not freeze a tray of ice one of the returns I got a 96 ice maker Ken cooler refrigerator that's not what ordered. On another return I got wine cooler. Another one of returns I got a smaller container it wasn't A 120/115 cooler
I bought the same cooler but it's got Bogue RV on it the manufacturer of these coolers sells them to many people and they just put their name on them but my bogueRV. I got the 37 qt from Amazon and it seems like once a week it goes on sale for $366
Question. Will this cooler run if it was stood up like a household fridge? I was just thinking it would be super convenient if it could be sending in the back of a Jeep or standing on one side of a tailgate during a long outing.
It's gonna largely depend on what brand you go with minimal tilting and stuff absolutely but just don't go crazy with it and if it flips I would turn it off and let it sit for a while
I hope yours last you for years and years but you lost me at LG. I do refrigerator repairs for a living and I hate LG. Their compressors are not good and good luck getting one if it goes out. The one for the refrigerator in my home is still in warranty but has been on backorder for a year. Good luck.
you spent all this time videoing, editing, and you not once yet used it.. thats just lame man.. get back with us on it , after you return from a mountain trip or what ever ..lol use it, abuse it.... then review it.. that should be standard for giving reviews all you did is an unboxing vid.
This seems like a sponsored video but not sure it was said. It was just a commercial showings it’s features. No real comparison compared to other systems.
This is a unboxing video. Not a review.
I have the Newair 122qt fridge/freezer and that thing is awesome!
It has a surge protector, it makes sure it doesn't draw too much current. It does not protect your car battery being drained , the Chinese one protects the car battery by shutting off once the battery drains too low
That's why they sent this to you and made sure you said the Chinese version is worse even though even this version compressor was made in Asia.
What good is a search protector if you have $70.00 worth of meat in your freezer and you wake up next morning it's all unfrozen
American Made= over priced
@@l.r9655 It also lasts longer and is made with higher quality standards.
That little storage area is actually a bay for an add-on battery that's available for most of these.
that's not a storage port for your cords that's a place to put a battery. I have the exact same cooler but in 37 quart just got my battery yesterday and it's amazing!

Bodega the same thing as well
@@shootthechit I don’t believe so. It doesn’t list it as having the LG.
You can also charge the battery by plugging it into the wall or the Car Outlet
My Alpicool LG fig just died, I think it lasted about a year . Good thing I got the extended warranty through Amazon!
I am in the UK and it looks the same as the Dellonda 75L. Thanks for the review.
I think I’ll get the new air cooler over dometic, really like the removable lids.
It seems like you might be able to run this on a small Jackery with the solar panel and be good to go as long as you have good sun.
it will only work with solar panels if you buy the optional battery that plugs into that area that this guy thought was a storage compartment for cords. I have the same cooler and just got my battery the other day the solar panels will be my next purchase.
Just connect solar panals to powerstation then cooler to powerstation if you do not have battery.
Man I’m so tired of soggy food and having to come out of the woods to find ice every couple of days. Good video.
awesome info and presentation, thank you
Hey there! I cant seem to find your portable battery. That thing looks awesome, where can I find one
This is awesome. I’m looking forward to eating ice cream while camping in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for the video!

I am getting one of these for my paddle board
get the 37 quart not the 50 quart because it's more manageable and less bulky
Very slick... My Son in Law and family will need this for the Zombie Apcolypse.
There are many good quality dual zone fridges out there but, I don't remember any review that mentions about the reversible lids, neither a safe place to keep the power cables. Those two are huge conveniences.
Storage on the back is also for the battery for solar
You compared a $200 with a $1000 Refrig, no wonder one was better.. and you got one for free.
Just put a 3watt pc fan next to the cheap chinese freezer compressor it'll increase freezing time 10 times faster. It's only $20 fan
Do you have to have a backup battery with that cooler or can it just run off the car battery? Or a solar
That fridge takes 12v for power when you plug into 120v that box on cord just down steps the 120v to 12v thats all that does.
Its not a storage spot... its for the detachable battery
Now ima get one of these
How has it held up and been used after 3 years? Have used other fridge/freezers?

I like it. I hate dealing with ice around my groceries.
Thanks for the review.☺️

What the Adventure box link? I checked your Amazon store & another links but did not see it
Im a truck driver i just bought it to keep some icecream in my cooler :)
don't forget the Jack and Coke over ice when you're doing your 10-hour break! 😁 I bought the optional battery for it as well and it's awesome!
Cool Video! I just bought one for my Tacoma too. How do you like using the rear power outlet? Any issues so far? Appreciate the info & you time.

They are 60 watts max and 30 watts in eco mode.
Bodegacooler also has the same TWW 75 refrigerator, which is even cheaper than them.
I wouldn't even buy these I tried them 8 times I returned it back they gave me garbage I could not freeze a tray of ice
How is it holding up 2 years later
How can you say it's amazing when you haven't used it?
Cool video man! Awesome that you can power it with multiple sources.
Merry Christmas 🎄
Where do you get the Adventure Box ? Power pak?

Not sure
How does this fridge/freezer compare with the SnowMaster?

80w while compressor is running
Question. Will this cooler run if it was stood up like a household fridge? I was just thinking it would be super convenient if it could be sending in the back of a Jeep or standing on one side of a tailgate during a long outing.
compressor fridge cant operate like this. Best ones Ive seen only go up to 45 degrees of tilt. Hope it helps
Is it okay for the compressor to get tilted when wheeling it around?
It's gonna largely depend on what brand you go with minimal tilting and stuff absolutely but just don't go crazy with it and if it flips I would turn it off and let it sit for a while
With no Built-in portable battery it has to be plugged in to a power source what great disappointment I will pass on this one
Is there a better one than this ? Need help
Its great for the cybertruck bed plugged into the 120v outlet.
Perfect but too big
this is a 50 quart cooler they also make one in 37 which is the one I have it's a lot less bulky
