Just like one of the other people on this video... I have neighbors that put up stuff for Halloween and then leave it up all year only changing it a bit to suit the following holidays... one year they had a giant ass spider on the side of their house. For Christmas they added a Santa hat, for New Years a New Years Hat, for St. Patrick's day a St. Paddy's hat, for Easter it was bunny ears, etc. Then this last year they put up a skeleton on their front porch and did the same thing. It's actually pretty funny! 😂
I can actually imagine that. My family kinda did the same with the miniature Xmas tree my aunt gave us before. Since the decorations on the tree's already glued on it (more like it's mostly pure glitter), me and my mom sometimes put something at the top, depending on the holiday.😁

For a second I thought you were my parents’ neighbor. They did this with a few skeletons for months. I got my own glow in the dark skeleton when I moved out.
Do we have the same neighbor or something? My neighbor did exactly that, and put a little spider between two trees stuck in a web. They put Santa hats, St. Paddy’s hat, etc. But it just suddenly stopped one year. I think they moved, taking the spider(s) with them.
LOL. I would love to have neighbors like these with a sense of humor.
When I was a kid, my cat came home with a ‘paternity suit’ note on his collar, saying, “My cat has six kittens, and you are responsible for half of them. I know he is the father - all the kittens look exactly like him’. 😂. This video gave me the warm fuzzies, thanks, I needed that! ❤️

I think its so absolutely awesome the neighbor is helping with the kids. 😆 When my dog had 10 pups my neighbors didn't help and it was tough. Their dog obviously got my girl. Kudos to them and u guys.

Seriously though, it’s sweet that the old fella brings joy to the kids.
I'm guessing the 'tractor dick' part is meaning the name of the owner of the tractor. As for the 'dick' it could just be his nickname he goes by since there are many names that have the nickname 'dick'. I know because my man's family on his father side would call each other 'dick' based on their name (and not just the personality, trust me on that)

I have a Thoroughbred mare that lives on my grandparents farm. Last Halloween, I dressed up as the Lone Ranger and rode her through the streets of my town. I ended up with 8 pounds of candy, and she got some apples and carrots that that one healthy neighbor gives out.
I love how wholesome this comment is. How's the mare doing?

I agree with updating the skeletons. I had a hanging one for a year that I was slow to take down and got defiant about it and kept telling everyone who complained about it that Halloween would come around again, no big deal. I kept updating for each holiday. It was challenging to attach the bunny ears at Easter, but fairly easy to dress it up for 4th of July. When its natural holiday DID come around again, I dressed it to be incognito just so no one (theoretically) would notice it. It died a natural death from weathering shortly thereafter. I still miss it.
0:20 - I don't see the parrots getting much exercise this way, but a little fresh air and sunlight, at least.

I don't think walking the parrots is for exercise, you can free-flight train them for that. Some birds do enjoy it, letting them get fresh air and see the neighbourhood

I take my grey parrot out like that. We have hawks where I live so he's not going out without protection.

For the dandelions, if you haven't used pesticides for many years and it's the right season, you could eat them.... I hate the fact that HOA's are so condescending toward people with dandelions and other such stuff in their house... If they can e used for food, then allow it to be in that person's house since it's his house... Moreover, dandelions don't give a horrible look at all...
I am young, but when I get a house of my own, if I get talked to by a HOA about what I grow as food, I would make their lives miserable... Hopefully ....

My dad taped a note to our door to tell delivery people to stop leaving mail and other packages for some person that lives one street over. I thought it was ridiculous, but we haven't gotten their mail since, so 🤷🏾

Yeah I had a neighbor who didn't neuter her dog and he would run around the neighborhood every mating season trying to find a female. There was a little dog with a situation where she had lost her home and she was female and wasn't spayed it worked out in a funny way because he was almost her protector from all the other dogs that were more aggressive towards her and he was very gentle and didn't let anyone else get near her to bother her or hurt her she wanted to be around him the most and found refuge in him but the funny thing is is that the dogs owner saw the mating and wanted the dog I was rescuing (Female) to" keep his puppies". I said yeah.... It's just that I don't think he understands child support...., She found that funny at first until I introduce the idea of how full the shelters were and how many dogs were lost in the neighborhood and I wasn't able to rescued them in those days and then found out they were put down. Hopefully they got these guys spayed and neutered and giving them the best life 🐾💕

Maybe this person has had a baby, is elderly or sick, has a sick relative, is getting a divorce and taking a second job, lost their job and spends the day jobhunting.....yes they could just be plain old lazy but being a " Karen neighbour'" isn't nice. Stop by, introduce yourself, get to know them. Maybe they just need a little help once in a while. If you are able offer to help. You don't know what someone is going through.

my sister's boyfriend has a 2 metre tall white skeletal horse in his unkempt front yard, I asked her if it glows at night. She then told me that he's also got a giant head that's as tall as her in his house, she's 162cm. I mean, I knew he was as kooky as her, but this cements it, he's more kooky than her. They're made for each other.

I think of good thing to live by is to try to make your neighbors happy if it doesn't take too much of you..,even if it's something silly...,
But of course if you got too much going on in your personal life to go to your front lawn and pick out your dandelions then let him know they're free to pick them for you 😊 For free!
I would do anything to make my neighbors happy but I would also let them know what living in peace is all about. It's about a balance you know and sometimes some people just don't have anything better to do that's what it is. Give them something you don't care about for them to fix...tell them you believe and that they are smart enough to do what other people couldn't and get them occupied with something.., then they'll stop bothering you about dandelions., Especially if they are old retired people 😉 some old lady spend their day crocheting and some spend their day looking out the window to see what they can pick at you about. Befriend them have them take a crochet class with you and send them on their way

I can really not understand pet owners who don't get their pets neutered!
Maybe his cat wasn't ready for the surgery. My cat was really skinny when my sisters adopt him and the vet said he needed to gain some weight before the surgery. He was a stray cat that one day ended up in our backyard, so it has sense to me at least a little...
Some animals aren't able to have surgery.....twisted intestines, abnormal blood clotting, and many other things. He may not be old enough. My county offers assistance with cost of spay/neuter for disabled, low income and elderly people but you have to wait till the animal is 8 months old to get on the waiting list. Sometimes the waiting list is short sometimes it takes 6 months. You never know
