Wow. Evanescence before anyone knew who they were. A few years before the Fallen album that suddenly thrust those 21yr olds into the spotlight. To this day they still do metal, ballads, and everything in-between, and without any solos by anyone. Just amazing and very worth your time following them from 2003 to now.
Dude I'm sure you don't know this, yet hehe you gotta understand that Amy Lee was a 18 going 19 year old teenager in love with a guy, (the guitarrist actually Ben Moody), the lyrics are about feeling so much for each other and having issues and about running away together bc their families want them to be apart, I mean it's a fucking great love song for being made by 2 teenagers, a guitarrist and her the singer and pianist Amy Lee, the song got a solo and everything, it builds, the harmonies on point, this song was done 22 years ago. Amy Lee is 40 years old now, she is much more experienced lyrically but for me this song talks about a deep love relationship that both feel can make it through anything anywhere if they are together... If you wanna get into other good songs by Evanescence listen to Going Under, Call Me When You're Sober, Wasted On You, Good Enough, Lost in Paradise, Use My Voice, Everybody's Fool, Lithium....any of these singles are amazing to start getting to know them .
