This was a MUCH better trailer, its what they should've shown when more of this game was unveiled only a few weeks ago. Plus the music doesn't want me to rip off my ears this time around, which is a nice bonus.

The legend died with Gran Turismo 4. All of that was Replay Mode which every Gran Turismo fan knows Replay Mode has almost double the visuals of actual gameplay. the real gameplay is halfway through the video and its underwhelming.

Harrys Marti I've been disappointed twice in a row with Gran Turismo 5 and then 6. Of course I give everything a chance but I personally am not getting into the hype because I have given into the hype before and it muddled the games for me. Keep in mind that when Gran Turismo games are advertised they use Replay and Photo Mode which both have significantly better graphics than actual gameplay; trust me I actually looked forward to Gran Turismo 5 based on graphics and was disappointed that they weren't the same, only learning later how Gran Turismo games are advertised.
***** gameplay was from 1:09 to 1:30 that did not look underwhelming that looked pretty good actually the trees look detailed the asphalt too and the cars look great plus it's 60fps what are you barking about?

Not really as GT is still the best selling racing video game franchise in history after NFS. Whilst Forza doesn't even have a quarter of what GT has in sales.

The last time GT was good was before last gen. The franchise has factually become a disgrace, the main man for Polyphony said himself that GT on the PS3 was a disaster. Sales clearly do not amount to quality. Forza has just gotten better and better.
All other get games were incredible especially 3 and 4

TopDawg e Well I made the jump from a PS3 so it was worth it for me. I have read mixed reviews from folks going from the PS4 to the Pro. Some say you can see the difference and others can't. I luckily got a good deal on a tv yesterday because the prices went up today. Just moving to a Smart 4K SUHD is amazing.

I'm quite excited for this. but I have always been a Dualshock player, since the GT1 days.
everyone knows that to be the absolute best, you NEED the racing wheel. especially for something like this, when it's so infused with E sports. DS players simply can't compete.
I guess I need to adapt.

It's a much better experience. I went back to GT5 with a G27 and the amount of gold trophy's almost doubled over DualShock. The only one that was useless with a wheel was GT3. GT4 was also tons better.
I agree, I'm really good and excited as well but, I'm going to need some training with the wheel because I am also a DS player.
G29 with the shifter would be a pretty decent choice .
fanboy failed to understand GT sport is more about the focus on professional racing, meanwhile forza is for the fun factor you don't have to race seriously in forza 6 or horizon, GT in the other hand is focusing on pro racing and yes the sound is improved but the tire sound and gearbox sound is still the same they should improve those sound and also adding some car chasis rattling sound would be an addition but for what i saw now gt sport is looking promising with great graphics and gameplay

EnricoZulu In the tournament Polyphony had some weeks ago, you couldn't hear the engine sounds over the tire squealing.
Sqealing in every single corner.
There is weather and time effects, but they are not dynamic to make it run smoother, kind of like Forza but probably available on every track.
Also there isn't damage model or probably minuscule damage model for the same reason, to make the game run smoothly with those amazing graphics.
Much better trailer! And l like how real PS4 gameplay footage is used; let this be a lesson for ALL game studios!! Keeping it real.

how did forza flop? wasn't as disappointing as the last 2 gt games that's for sure. both gt and forza are simcade not Sims. so iracing rfactor and assetto corsa is what you need

I can imagine it's a 100 gb game once it comes. Graphics, tracks and cars may have its price. But Sony should start releasing 4tb hdd that can fit in the ps4 without external expasions.
Myself i got a 500gb ps4 and that is not enough if i go all digital with games. Thank god for development of hdd

Most likely not. Default game will only start with 140 cars and about 30 tracks. Don't expect the level of content of older GT titles.
Mind you, they said they'll bump up the car list to around 300 through multiple DLC over the years following the release.
Well GT6 gave us above 1000 cars right from the start.

GT6 also wasn't this detailed either, and had a mix of new cars with those that were just ported over from previous titles. Something that they said GT S won't do; all cars will be premium this time. Additionally, GT S isn't GT7, it's merely the in-between game we always get before a major GT release.
When the main GT7 game comes out, it'll have everything GT Sport has, plus a much larger amount of road vehicles. My guess is a list of 800 cars, but I'm not certain on that.

it's not the physics, the physics just fine. The netcode is the problem (it plays at Lan yet it looks like it plays at 300 ping)

That's one of the main features that this game is bringing to console an esport racing scene that's also an official fia sponsored game that's pretty special if you ask me.

+TheNastyBAGL think of this as a prologue game it's main focus is multiplayer the car count os low at i think 140 no career but will have single player which consists of licence tests, missions, and arcade/quick race. split screen will be available along with photo mode and livery editor. day/night cycle won't be available but you will get to pick any time to race before you start day or night. it has an upgraded tyre and physics model with better more realistic weight transfer, and the wind resistance/slip-stream mechanics have been re-worked for the better. it will also support vr (of you're into that). while it is a smaller game it has made big strides forward in key areas it seems and will hopefully transfer to 7 when it finally drops.
