Well made video, keep grinding my dude, may the youtube algorithm pick you up (it did show up in my suggested list, so maybe it's happening :) ). As owner of Invincible FK2, Triumph 21 (pretty similar to 20) and Vaporfly I agree with everything you've said. Generally speaking I enjoy Saucony lineup, since they got rid of PWRRUN (now even Rides have PWRRUN+) I feel like every shoe is amazing, I'd highly recommend Endorphin Speeds when your Mach 4's get retired.

Thank you for the kind words! I loved my pair of the original Endorphin Speeds (retired them at the start of this year) and I think you might be right; it's time I got a new pair. Nothing else I've run in has been quite like them.

Looks like everybody has different opinions on shoes so definitely trying before buying is a better idea. Triumph 20 is definitely bouncy (surprisingly my favorite among all shoes) and Nike invincible 2 has one of the worst upper and overall my least favorite in rotation haha. I have rc-elite v2, 2 saucony endorphin speeds an endorphin pro, invincible 2, triumph 20, mach 5, new balance rebel and asics nimbus in my rotation.

Which Nimbus do you have? I had the 24 for my office runs and thought it was great and had a bit of bounce, but for whatever reason it didn't seem to get a lot of love from the internet community at large. The 25 looks like such a huge departure I'm not sure if it would be for me.

@@runnymanrunning I have the 24 as well, I got it in discount six months ago in 60 bucks. Unfortunately I also dont like them for runs so much, it will get the job done but my hands dont really want to grab them for run days. I love them for walking though. triumph 20, rebel v3 and endorphin speed 3s are my favorite and I tend to use them most of the time. Its just that once you find out your favorite ones you just tend to gravitate towards them.

Hello. I recently moved to Shanghai and I am an amateur runner too. If you don't mind, I would like to get in touch to get your advice about running in the city.

Sure. Most of my experience is running in and around Changning, so I'm not super familiar with places to run in other parts of the city but I'd be more than happy to help with anything I can.

@@runnymanrunning Thank you. My place is in Pudong and I am running mostly here during the working days, but I am interested in places for long run on the weekends. I have run along the bund (just the west side) and also in Century Park. Maybe you can suggest other parks or places to run in the nature, even outside the city.

@@albertogomez9808I think the closest you'll get to actual nature is one of the mountain parks in Nanjing (老山's been recommended to me by a few local runners), Hangzhou or northeastern Zhejiang (I did a trail race in a place called 南北湖 which is about as close to Shanghai as you' re going to get for that sort of thing and the trails were pretty pleasant. As for parks, you're on the other side of the city to me and I rarely make it out there, but there are a few parks over in/near Pudong that I did want to check out, how far are you from 共青国家森林公园? That place looks really nice.

@@runnymanrunning Thanks for the reply. I have Gongqing in my list, it's not so far from where I'm staying. As for the other places, I will consider to visit after the summer when the temperatures are more pleasant. One last question, is there any app or something to be updated about the races that will take place in the next months?

@@albertogomez9808 Yeah, there's an app called 马拉松报名, and a website called 最酷 (zuicool.com), both of which are pretty good for finding races. I book pretty much all of my races through those two sources. The Shanghai Marathon has it's own app, and you can apply for a couple of other local races through there, like the Shanghai Elite 10k and some of the local half marathons too.
