Alclad is pretty easy to strip as it does not handle hot cleaners or solvents well. Just the usual bleach and scrub method and would speculate this would do the same. Been years from the last time I stripped Alclad.
I'm using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove messed up paint model without damaging plastic. Lacquer Thinner and paint remover are not the best paint stripper because they causes melt and crack.
doesnt always work, left some legionaries in a jar of isopropyl alcohol and after multiple hours in there i still have literally the same minis but now wet
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your builds
Interesting tip but will for sure come in handy! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing.
Does this take a while if u have spray paint and clear coat
newly painted lacquer will be quick, if enamel or oil and old coat of paint it will take a long time.
Thanks for sharing Alan, what do you use to strip Alclad chrome or any other Alclad product? TIA
