I went with qa1 lvl2 all the way around, full disc brake conversion oem 10bolt rear 355 gears im looking at wheels and wondering if ill have handling issues with 20x8f 20x10r?
When the rear was shortened 1.5” on each side did you have to move the shock mount ls in? I have a factory 71 chevelle and i dont see how i can narrow the diff without clearance between the brakes and shock mount.
Awsome bro. I want run 10.5 with a 3 inch backspacing. One guy told me I would have tub, frame notch and install a (weld/in)coilover relocation kit. I'm knowing that's over kill😂. But on you rear suspension everything lined up to bolt on that narrow rearend? If so that gives me my next move and answer 👍😎 thanks in advance
Need your help I have a 4dr 55 210 just picked up a set of 18x8 billet specialties what size tires should I go with I will be lowering the car 2inches in front with drop leafsprings in rear
AWESOME DUDE 1 SICK CAR. I'm having hard time with my 68 GTO rear wheels with the stock Rear end. Any idea the widest I could go with the stock rear end in 20X?? Please let me know
I love everything about it but the seats and the steering wheel but it is a taste thing. still love that 70! Very nice. I left my stock buckets and interior other than some gauges. i know Sparco makes top notch stuff though, so i know these are quality parts for sure.
question? I have adjustable qa1 suspension. i did not get the 2 inch drop spindles yet plan on it . I wanted to add a large wheel set up. I want to run a at least a 10 inch wide in rear. I have a ford nine inch to use if need be. Do you think 24s with out cutting or should I stay with 22s. Foir 71 chevelle
Quick question hopefully u can point me In Right direction I have a 1971 chevelle stock 12 bolt rear end disk on front the front I just put 24 x 10.5 forgiatos on rear And 24 x 9 forgiatos on front When checking figment find out One drum for breakers is bigger ie passenger drum is bigger so rim sticks out father my question is this normal for a stock 12 bolt drum
one drum was probably replaced with a different manufacture but do me a favor and upgrade your brakes to disk when running big wheels man. more of a safety issue then anything. thanks for watching
I will be putting willwoods all around but wanna just know what the deal is cuz my back passenger 24x 10 is rubbing on a body was told no cut no rub when purchased please advise thanks
@@goosseperformance1444 I really appreciate your reply and I can tell you love Chevelles...there is a lot of conflicting and misinformation out there especially about suspension and wheel fitment with larger wheels/tires...a lot of people here don't like mods but IMO there arent many cars if any that looked as sick as a well stanced 68-72 Chevelle with the proper wheels and thicker tires...thanks again
Badd ass ride, im following u. I also putting the same set up of turbos on mine I saw the review video of them but was to late lol. One question I hope you can help me with this... Im about to put 20x12 (4" back space or offset & 8" lip) in the rear and 18x9 (3.5 back space offset & 5.5 lip) in the front. I dont mind doing any kind of modifiation in the quarter panels ans fenders, but not in the frame, also shorter rear end, Here is the question... Do you think they will fit? Custom wheels I can do any off set I want Thanks I appreciate it if u can send me to the right rute
Very cool. You can also consider notching the frame horns.

Goosse what did you get your kick panel on 1970 chevelle after you put vintage air in.

Yup. My neighbor cooked his turbo bearings by shutting car off while it was still spinning at like 50,000 rpm.
So, no body mods??
Not frame was hurt in the making of this video lol , frame was only boxed for support
Is that a real SS Chevelle?

No no. Don’t “mod” (FU) a car to fit oversized wheels.
