The food in Antonio’s is not worth paying for. It’s local food yet so expensive... I would not go there. Go to Josephine’s restaurant in Tagaytay also, local food but budget friendly.
I think the chef of that restaurant is JP Anglo? I am not sure. But i read that he is a multi awarded chef. He is one among 3 spokesmdn for the Tourism Department's Food Tourism campaign just recently (august 2019). He has other restaurants in that area which are not as expensive. You can check it out.
disagree. If we're talking about the view of Taal volcano from Starbucks, I prefer the view from starbucks reserve and the starbucks in front of primark center, along Aguinaldo hwy
Yes theres a Starbuck only a little up further up to SkyRanch on Left coming from that Hotel actually a bit after I think the Bag of beans .. its an open hut Starbucks right facing the taa volcano .. you drive down the small set of sari stores and theres a set of other coffee shops but Starbucks as a cafe shop and you walk up stairs to a hut .. if you interested in finding it ill give you a better description ... if you have issues finding it
@@3am_3am_ Ridiculous for a restaurant to have hair in your food and they wear hair nets so i don't how on earth I found hair in my omelet. JEEZUZ!! but to me Josephine restaurant in Tagaytay is the best. Maybe not the best view of taal vol but good enough. The food made up for it :).
If you’re looking for beaches in Batangas, there are a lot in Nasugbu which is down Tagaytay. You can also go to San Juan, Batangas where Laiya Beach is. I highly recommend Aquatico and Blue Coral Beach Resort for some exclusivity. The other beach resorts are crowded and beach fronts are not well maintained.
The fruit is called santol. I don't know if it has an English equivalent. The other Starbucks with the nicer view is near Discovery Country Suites, along the main road. Btw, Lucy's Wasabae shirt is so cute! 💗

With the main Antonio's restaurant you can tour the old Filipino ancestral house connected to it . Beautiful place overlooking the garden, but expensive .
George bought a Santol fruit or cotton fruit in English....its common tropical fruit in SE Asia or in the Philippines! You guys should explore Mindanao Islands...
That Peoples Park is for the masses. Visit premium places like Tagaytay Higlands and Crosswinds. Its a christmas village whole year round with lots of rolling grass, log houses and Pine Trees. There is a cable car in Highlands. Superb views...
Hi, thank you for showing Philippines to the world... I love your videos, but what i always love is George's' sun glasses... Where do you guys get your sun glasses?
Might be high for the area but my old office down town Dallas was $250 per month. It was a sky rise corporate meeting / breakfast or dinner per person.
Quite a chill video as always, the fruit you bought near the middle of the video looks like what we call santol (cotton fruit), it is quite sweet if ripe (you usually eat the central pulp near the seeds) and the inner rind the taste of which can be akin to a peach.
Antonio’s Restaurant garden is way more expensive, but worth every penny. Try Sonia’s Garden too. There’s a vegetarian buffet, a beautiful garden walk, and a massage service.
Just below Tagaytay is Talisay, Batangas. There’s a very nice resort there called Club Balai Isabel where you’ll see Taal Vokcano on eye level. There’s also a waterpark there. They offer daytour so no need to stay overnight. Walk-ins are allowed. They also have a good pizza place there.
@Pebs Forna I don't even think Michelin gives out stars in the Philippines. I may be wrong though. Antonio's did rank in the past in the Miele Guide as one of Asia's best restaurants. Not sure if that's still the case.
@Pebs Forna oh? antonio's is the only filipini owned restaurant that has a michelin star?...hmm. according to my research . there is no such thing. there are only franchises like timhowan. hawker chan. etc.
to be fair, ramsay's food is quite on the pricey and high end as well.....trust me i'm from las vegas where he has two restaurants at caesar's palace where i used to work (hell's kitchen and gordon ramsay's bar and grill). and he's not that mean.....it's his TV persona, he's quite affable in person.
LOL! I remember the omelette in ABS-CBN canteen. It starts @ 12php for plain scrambled the just add like 5, 10, 15 if you want to add onions, bacon, luncheon meat etc. Hahahaha not really sure about the price but its somewhere on that range and that cheap.

I love the Grilled Cheese with Mixed Berries Jam there. Price point is not exactly for everyday breakfast but just once in a while indulgence. I’ll make a mini mukbang taste test soon!
cottonfruit for santol. the unfinished mansion was for U.S. President Reagan but political turmoil in Phil's left it abandoned until converted to a park. Film : Delta Force II of Chuck Norris was its first Hollywood setup location.
You don't have to order similar or same dishes. What we do is we order different dishes and share. Next time, you can try their reuben sandwich, corned beef, truffle pasta, apple pie and their salted caramel cheesecake is oh so yummy. But for a different dining experience, you should try the main Antonio's (by reservation only) for a special date. That's how they became famous.
hi G & L, I may be wrong, but the reason why they are pricey is because their ingredients are all organic. the eggs, the corned beef etc....nothing is from a can or bought frozen. that's why a lot of people go there.
BTw, Tagaytay City is still part of Cavite province but below and to the east and south is Batangas. Hope you can explore TAAL town which is located on the opposite side of Tagaytay. It has old houses like in Vigan and its church is the largest cathedral in Asia. The market of Taal is known for its tasty longganisa (pinoy sausages). Safe travels!

Visit Sonya’s Garden its really beautiful there. Theres a story behind that resto and garden, some foreigners said that visit changed their lives. You have to talk to the owner, and there are stories behind because the lady who owns it was cheated on by her ex husband. She does really give u lifetime wisdom and lessons.💜💜💜.

The free fruit in the road is Santol (Cotton fruit) 😍 Its sweet just discard the seed
Tagaytay City is a city in Cavite Province not Batangas although its very near batangas province
exactly
It doesn't matter cuz they are foreigners. Lol

Would recommend, but book in advance!
