For your plants, you can buy water crystals (or water gels/pearls). They slowly melt and depending on how much you put, can water your plants for up to two weeks. Tru Value and garden stores should have them.
It's mount makiling if you exit to the left from the south expressway it's laguna. There are many private villas with its own hot spring pools you should try it for 1 overnight.
That is my province. 30 yrs ago Tagaytay is like grassland with cool breeze. My grandfather told me a story that yr 1911 a powerful eruption took place there and covered the entire ridge with black soil. That highway is part of volcanic debri directly thrown from erupting volcano of Taal.
George, Lucy the view that you are viewing below is our town Talisay, where Taal volcano is located..and by the way I went to England 1978 and live in Edgware, Middlesex for almost 30 and before was in Haselemere Surrey and then to Camden town and now in Edgware.. worked in Royal Mail for 30 years and now retired going back and forth to England. Nice to know that you decided to have a home base in our country!
Those small plants will be just fine.. it seems that it has a fertile soil little bit sunlight for photosynthesis and a bit of water enjoy your road trip with no worries take care have a nice trip
I believe those small huts/cottages in front of your balcony is the ridge park. It is a restaurant and they serve good filipino dishes the last time I went there (about a year ago).
My mother is from Batangas and spent most of my childhood there. (Dad is from Iloilo.) My parents lived in Manila and during the school year I lived with them. Back then, it took 2 hours to reach the first town of Batangas from Manila. Enjoy Batangas! Love how you were reminiscing about your road trip with making it happen. George, I always enjoy the room tour so please keep doing it.
You can try Antonio’s rest, you will like the place , they have good foods and Sonya’s. You can go visit The Puzzle Museum , Yoki farm , you will like the all plants and organic vegetables, you can pick blueberries . Your airbnb looks familiar. I think it is the same room we booked last year. I remember the table, the altar, and the bed. Great room and great view for its price.
