    shouldn't the self weight be density multiplies by volume ?
    y did we leave l while calculating it ?
    it should be 7x0.6x0.6x24 right??

    In this example we have calculated the safe load send on Mlim. However the section is still over balanced as the actual xu is still greater than Xu lim based on the section & Ast. Can you clarify .

      Yes.. its still... over reinforced beam by given his but as per problem we should find whats the safe load. As there is no further analysis on over reinforced section, we should move on with balanced section,right !?

    Sir the unit of live load is KN/M2 right..then how come we get only kn/m..I don't understand this part.

      Calculated mu lim by the formula given by standard code, assuming the over reinforced section as balanced section

    Sir while calculating moment why u take only compression force ...why not tension force....I have taken tension and compression force..but both are giving different values ...is this correct or not please clarify my doubt..in O.R.B...should we go for only compression force x lever arm ...?... please clarify my doubt...I am very confused with this
