I immediately winced for you guys when I saw you were watching this one. Such a poor film when compared to 1-3. Always fun seeing you guys react though. Sorry you had to endure this turd.
So I was an extra in the mall scene in this shitbox of a movie (unfortunately I’m not visible on camera, or maybe I should be thankful). They filmed it in New Orleans 3 years after Hurricane Katrina in a mall that never came back after the storm and had mold everywhere because of the flooding, and there were signs all over the set basically saying that the air quality was toxic and the production company wasn’t responsible for any health issues that may occur as a result of being there. Talk about a final destination, eh? Thanks for all the content y’all create. I’m a long time viewer, first time commenter. Lots of love, pumpkins! ✌️💚🌈
Imagine the trauma those two little boys went thru in a matter of days. Their mom put tampons in their ears, and they survived a tragic event only to witness their mother get a rock through the eye. On a more positive, the shirtless scenes of Seth Campo and Nick Zano were pleasant. Well, until Nick Zano got the wrong kinda suction in the pool.
Finally, a Final Destination for the people who watched the first 3 movies and rooted for Death. This is just a feature length "1000 Ways to Die" episode.
Best part is when the escalator catches that gal's foot and blood comes out of her mouth for no reason. Like she was a tube of toothpaste or something.
I love that the writers were trying to make us hate certain characters so they were just like "RACISM". PrettyMuchIt talked about this but you need to take slurs more seriously than "We need you to hate this character", especially when your movie is going for this campy tone. It's literally just there to make the white protagonist look good when he calls it out.
And the kicker, the guy playing the Racist was a far better actor than the lead. (Typecast as thugs and rednecks, but Justin Welborn's a good character actor)
I think there are genuinely still rednecks like that though. Deep in some rural, republican, god-fearin', huntin', muddin', truckin', coal roalin' place. Modern times don't always mean modern people.
Oh, I'm black btw, and I like all those things except god, and any side of the government. And like leftists, I don't think trad-con redneck would like me either. But my point is, I can believe a character like that is real, and at a car event like that.
When my brother and I went to go see this in theaters out of sheer boredom, we were all in except when it go to the car wash scene and once that scene ended a guy sarcastically said "SERIOUSLY?! THAT WAS THE DUMBEST DEATH IN THIS FRANCHISE!" and my brother replied "They all are but yeah, that would NEVER happen" This was literally the weakest film and then FD5 happened and when THAT one released, I had eye surgery the following month so it made my anxiety go SKYYYYYY high haha I am so excited for part 6! Love from Seattle!
I saw this shit in theaters. I loved it when it first came out but this doesn't have rewatch ability for me , but I love watching people yourselves comment on them
"I didn't know he was a feminist" had me dying. This is the shittiest Final Destination for sure, but I am looking forward to your reactions to the next one
Can someone help me out? What happened to the girl from part 2- the main character, Kimberly? In the end, they are at a barbecue and that kid blew up, everyone screamed, and the movie ended. Since Kimberly died and was brought back, does that mean she is the only one in this series that survived?? Great reaction! Most folks pan this one, but I like 4.
So in the "Chose their fate" DVD version of FD3, in the subway part there was a choice that would let you get to read the newspaper a homeless guy was sleeping under. In the newspaper it reports that kimberly and the Police officer met at a Hardware store and Kimberly's jacket gets caught and pulled into a wood chipper machine the turned on by accident and as the police officer was trying to help her they both got pulled into it. If that is still part of the lore or not is up to the franchise.
The thing that annoys me about this movie is actually the That’s So Raven premonition flashes when in the first and third films, there were actually signs that you had to look for; and if you didn’t, you died. Like the second one had Kimberly with her psychic visions and this one is just constant. It’s not the same.
Even though this is the worse in the Series I still give it credit for being Campy at least… Also this is The Final Destination “Pun Intended” of Director David R Ellis who Directed the second film he passed away 4 years after this film’s release. If you can watch the Film Shark Night it came out in 2011. That was his very last film. Also campy and silly at the same time.
I went for years refusing to watch the FD movies because I have a freak accident phobia. When I finally made myself watch them I laughed because it's death aggressively coming for them one by one. Death won't let anyone kill themselves in these movies. Death is selfish and wants to do it herself.
Whether that title stays or not for the "Bloodlines" movie, I think it's a hint that we're getting a character that's Ali Larter's daughter, which would make sense, because she managed to survived death multiple times. You'd think if death couldn't take her, it would go after her kin. Just my thoughts on it.
@@briankaslewicz6130 sure, but Ali Larter is like the person people think of when they think of Final Destination movies. While it's not as iconic of a role for her as Neve Campbell's role in Scream, fans of each franchise would love to have both those women back and it seems like we might get at least one.
If they had stuck to their original plan which was to make this one a full on spoof of Final Destination I think it could of worked, but oof as is this movie is so bad lol 😂, can't wait for y'all to get to part 5!
@@EnchantedTooWell i can't find the article anymore but one of the people who worked on it did an interview a long while ago where they discussed the many rewrites, reedits, and reshoots this one went through, it was apparently a nightmare behind the scenes
Kills in the previous movies; a lot of practical effects, death took time to arrived and tries differents ways to kill the characters; it was really scary (The roller-coaster, the plane, the tanning beds, the mother in the elevator. ) Kills in this movie: Woooo everything is in 3D, 3D everywhere even in the hero's visions. It looked fake, lame and it's not terrifying at all. Death is not impressive in this movie 😂

@PettyPumpkins ohhh the fun house mystery one where they're detectives and there's a song about monsters being chill or something. I was an early member of the Fun Club 💜🤣
You two, let me say, took this movie lighter than I did. I'm at a point in my life when it comes to watching movies where I'm like "Either I enjoy the film, it's meh or I don't like it.", but then there's the rare films that I actively hate. This is one of them and I can count only five things I liked; Nick Zano (He's always a good dick in films), Mykelti Williamson (George, he's always a plus), Andrew Fiscella (The mechanic) and Justin Welborn (Who played the racist, he's a character actor I sincerely like) and the lead up to the one death in the Salon. (Not the actual death). And yes, I know Lori and Janet's actresses went off to be in far better things, like Shantel VanSanten being in The Boys. The rest of the film, I truly hate, most especially Nick. I'm not the kind who goes out of my way to hate fictional characters (Cause really, come on), but everything about Nick sincerely pissed me off. The way he's written, the acting (I know Bobby Campo has done better acting, but this was NOT one of them), that same "DERR" face he always makes in it. It's also a real metaphorical kick in the balls to deal with after we had one Ms. Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Sorry for the long rant, this film just gets the claws out if you will, especially as a fan of the films since I saw the first on DVD when I was 9. XD At least I know FD5 was a massive step up after this POS. Do excuse my rant, great reaction, still await "From Dusk Till Dawn". XD Just be sure to go in blind on that one. Don't read plot summaries.
So, I guess you have no commentary about how FD3 exploited the tragedy of 9/11 and the Twin Towers' in the photographs the characters look at in the graveyard. For a comedy-horror movie. That event happened to real human beings and only a few years before they made FD3. Did the families of the people who lost lives deserve to be drug through that grief again by an immature teen movie that plays death like it's a joke. I guess you're totally fair with your views on what people should be mad about and what they shouldn't.
@@fluorescentmilkshake Not the kind of comment I expected to get 6 in the morning. Of course that's distasteful and terrible, you can say the same thing about the camera crack in the Lincoin photo. And there's a reason the part of the scene was taken out of TV airings. Also, where in the actual fuck did this come from? I was just talking about how this certain film, the fourth one, made me angry as a fan of the series and overall. Congrats on being the hundredth person to bring up the FD3 9/11 scene. You're not the first and surely not the last either.
@@MutaScale No, that's **the point** = what franchise are you watching? If you're a fan, I'd assume you paid attention to the previous films. The same people who wrote and directed _Final Destination 2_ made the 4th _Final Destination._ They did their job. They actually took more risks doing Stupid Things on the 2nd film. The film opens with Kimberly's friends being so aggressively, viciously unlikable it's a JOLT to the system. First time I watched it (just the scene on the highway leading up to the collision), I was so angry- I literally hated the movie. But, eventually, it occurred to me... _OH!!_ It's a satire! This scene is a commentary on how unbelievably stupid the characters in the first movie are. I re-watched the first movie and immediately realized _Final Destination_ (2000) is not a good movie. It's almost a good movie. But someone writing it just wants _American Pie_ clone dummy characters who exist merely to D in horrible ways. I admire the 4th _Final Destination_ so much. It's so damn smart, it boggles my brain. After awhile, it became so clear = the makers of FD 2 and 4 literally made those films as course corrective, acidic, brilliant commentaries on how stupid the character writing was in the movie prior- parts 1 and 3. If people are so mad at the 4th _Final Destination,_ maybe it's because the 2nd film got away with making _Gremlins 2: The New Batch_ fun at the first. And making fun of THEM for not realizing how the 1st movie is an artistic, intellectual dead end and... You know: so who would want to MAKE a new _Final Destination_ film if the characters act like the ones do in the Not Good movies of the franchise? These movies are not created by fans, you understand. What will/would ever attract new filmmakers to the franchise when it's dumb? The 2nd, 4th, and 5th films in the franchise are smarter and more sophisticated, thoughtful, and took greater risks.
@@fluorescentmilkshake ... so, time out, let me understand something. This wasn't about me not calling FD3 the worst cause of a bad 9/11 reference... This was because I dared call the fourth film, which case you missed it, everyone else from those in the comments and in the video itself disliked, one of the worst films I've sat through? Is that why? No need for a long winded ramble (I of all people shouldn't be saying that, hypocrisy on my end noted), just a simple yes or no answer. And side note, I love the second and fifth films. (second is actually one of my favorite sequels, then 1 and 5)
@@MutaScale My long-winded rambles are all protein, no fat, sweetie. Get some nutrition while you can. I don't know if you've noticed? But lots of people with bad takes can share the same opinion, even what we think are the majority can be wrong = Adam Sandler Movies, anyone? (Not all of them, of course. Just all but a tiny few.) I don't care about you saying everyone hates FD4 but one or two. If you READ WHAT I WROTE? You'd get all your answers. I suggest if you have any more questions? You can go back and read me again. Bless you, either way, for "putting up with me" this long.
My least favorite of the series by farrrrrrr. As much as I love the series, FD4 fell so flat for me. I saw it in theatres and....ugh. It's definitely a hot mess. Cant wait for you to react to FD5. That one's better.
@@PettyPumpkinsit was the first Final Destination movie I got to see in theaters. I almost skipped into the theater. I was SO excited. Please believe me when I say, I was NOT in a skipping mood when I left. 😂 Huge disappointment.
@fluorescentmilkshake Not trying to convince anyone of anything. For me, this one sucks. Bad acting, cringe dialogue, lame kills, and horrible CG make this one the worst for me. But, as they say, one man's trash is another man's treasure. If you or anyone else enjoys it, I'm happy for you. It just does absolutely nothing for me.
@@KallmeGhostface Oh, I hope you're not misreading me... I'm definitely saying that if this movie does "absolutely nothing for you," then maybe your taste is superficial and shallow and maybe your opinion is not worth listening to. I admit it. Look at your comments. The "acting" is "bad"? It's the same acting as the rest of the franchise. Everyone is either tense and nervy, irritated and callous, sleazy, dismissive, or melodramatic. The tone of all of these films, all 5 of them, is: the force of D itself is trying to end our lives. What do you do? Not take it well. Panic or dismiss it and make bad decisions. Welcome to someone contextualizing 5 films you've already seen but act like you haven't.
@fluorescentmilkshake Cool. I'm not bothered by being accused of having superficial or shallow taste. I wouldn't make comments online if i cared what other people thought or worried they'd freak out over a dissenting opinion. Been there, done that. It's far too trivial a thing to be upset over. But if it somehow validates your love for this movie to come at me in an insulting manner, go for it.
@@KallmeGhostface You committed the first insult, though. You insulted film appreciation with a misplaced slate of issues with a film it appears you didn't understand. While also showing that you fundamentally misunderstood the entire franchise.
I highly recommend Hazbin Hotel and it';s sister series, Helluva Boss. The first one is full of broadway stars and it's musical and gay! The second one is too, but not as much music and broadway stars, still some tho! They are the best adult cartoons!
Maybe its just part of your guy's characters but is it really necessary to attach a gender to death? After all, the last movie referred to death as a force and whether you believe that or not, I don't know. Personally, I can see death as a genderless force; the embodiment of apathy and coldness. Unfeeling and inhuman. It isn't like us in any way; it just is...
This is the weakest one out of the entire franchise but it's still a fun movie and it's watchable. It will always hold a special place in my heart because I've experienced all 5 movies on the big screen. 😉 I appreciate y'all for almost completing the series and was happy to be a part of the journey. 🩶❤
Disagree = this movie is like a very savvy, intelligent commentary on the writing of characters in the previous films. Especially the 1st and 3rd films. Where characters are from affluent families / homes, have privileged backgrounds, and are very millennial depictions of the sort of takes on characters in the 90's we see on shows like _Daria._ Or in movies like _Scream_ or _Serial Mom._
The thing that annoys me about this movie is actually the That’s So Raven premonition flashes when in the first and third films, there were actually signs that you had to look for; and if you didn’t, you died.
Just all but a tiny few.)
I don't care about you saying everyone hates FD4 but one or two. If you READ WHAT I WROTE? You'd get all your answers.
I suggest if you have any more questions? You can go back and read me again. Bless you, either way, for "putting up with me" this long.
So many fours, haha 😂.
This is easily the worst of the franchise. Your reactions are so cool & funny xx
Dont worry loves, this was the pit. This was rock bottom Final Destination material.
FD 5 is not gonna disappoint :)
Are you two gonna continue watching The Boys?
Yes! We filmed season 2 a couple days ago! Excited for the final edit to get to you! 😘
yall know there is a final destination 5 right? lol just making sure
It will be worth it to see 5! But yeah this one is hot trash 😭😭😭
The hot part I'll agree with.
This film is campy and cheesy but I do love the movie theater/mall premonition
don't worry the 5th one is great.
i dont mind if isnt the first watch
Thank you 🥰 some people don’t like it but we try to give a good mix of both!!!
I think the only good part about this movie is the X-Ray intro credits. 😂
This is my fav fd chi
Hope you guys can do after final destination franchise the resident evil movie franchise
React to final destination 5 ASAP 👹
Can y’all react to the final 2010 movie
Do they realise this movie was released in 3D? Hence the weird visual effects. They look bad in 2D
My least favorite of the series by farrrrrrr. As much as I love the series, FD4 fell so flat for me. I saw it in theatres and....ugh. It's definitely a hot mess. Cant wait for you to react to FD5. That one's better.
Can’t imagine going to a theater excited to watch this and then…watching it lol 😂🙈
@@PettyPumpkinsit was the first Final Destination movie I got to see in theaters. I almost skipped into the theater. I was SO excited. Please believe me when I say, I was NOT in a skipping mood when I left. 😂 Huge disappointment.
this movie was embarassingly bad...i feel secondhand embarassment by the dialogues lol i didnt even finish watching
This is my least favorite fd movie but I know you guys can make it better.
We tried!
This movie is fucking awful, but it was fun to watch yall react to it 😂.
I haven't heard one convincing argument for why this movie is anything but good.
There is Final Destination 5 come out in 2011 i hoping react to the movie.
I highly recommend Hazbin Hotel and it';s sister series, Helluva Boss. The first one is full of broadway stars and it's musical and gay! The second one is too, but not as much music and broadway stars, still some tho! They are the best adult cartoons!
This one is the worst one of the series
Yeah why is this movie racist?
Like the second one had Kimberly with her psychic visions and this one is just constant. It’s not the same.
