From Assassins to Scientists: Interesting Characters to Play in Crusader Kings III

The video focuses on the important characters in the Persia. New DLC: Legacy of Persia is on the way and it is great time to try some Persian characters. Some of them are the remnants of old heathen empire and some of them are scientists. Both of three characters either have great impact in the Middle Eastern history or their ancestor had that impact.

I had a good campaign with the Zoroastrian ruler by overthrowing the first liege, swearing fealty to the Abbasids and adopting a different Zoroastrian faith that has Islamic Syncretism (and is therefore seen as hostile iso evi)l. Then I started to expand and hybridized my culture with one that had horse archers, to counter the OP mubarizun heavy infantry.

@@athelasstrategy There is a version of Zoroastrian that already has the Islamic Syncretism called Behafaridism. There is also a Christian syncretic variety of Zoroastrian which is Arewordik. Afridunism has folk syncretism so anything pagan. Mazdakism is Gnostic.

I seldom play Muslim characters because the presence of caliphates limit the moves a player can do. However, the new struggle mechanic is very helpful and I might make more videos about them.
