Drew please read I have loved you for so long. I went though a very long depression after the death of my son. I watched you sometimes in full tears, I spent days in bed just watching you grow and change. When the depression lifted and healing began I continued watching. I stopped watching you for awhile just as I was getting back to my life. I'm back, I feel like I watched you grow up. I wanted you to know you helped me through the worst time in my life. I know this has nothing to do with you marvelous design skills. Just wanted you to know I'm healing and so grateful for your grace and beauty. The fact that your laugh and smile helped bring back my smile . I love your existence Thank you being you
WOW So sweet that u shared this. I'm so sorry for all you've had to deal with. I wish you so much happiness. You sound like the kindest person ever. I'll be telling Drew about your comment. I'm sure he will want to thank you for cheering him on ❤Drew's mom
@carmellalofton3272 thank you for the sweet message and I'm so sorry you went through that. Thank you for being so supportive and I'm happy my content made you smile and helped you through your healing journey. XO Drew
You always put a disclaimer out that you are not a “professional designer”, but I would rather have you design something for me than any other professional! You have such a unique style! We love you, Drew!❤
The difference between amateur and professional is that professionals get paid for what they do. Drew is definitely a professional, even if he won't admit it.
@@jekalambert9412Agree that getting paid for your work is one big difference but Drew makes his money through creating content in the first place. Also, I would consider having a degree in Interior Design as necessary. Talent is great but there's a reason why people study for years before even taking on their first client. Still, Drew is doing great work, not trying to play that down (and I also made a comment about how I appreciate his humbleness, so actually we're on the same side).
Thanks for not saying you’re not an Interior Designer! You’re very good at what you do and have great skills and ideas, and are very good at sharing them! I wish others would have your grace and good humor!
I think all versions look wonderful! I must say though, what I absolutely love the most is that you made sure the pillows were fluffed up and NOT karate chopped! Designers do that karate chop in the middle of the pillow and that really annoys me! Bravo!
My Mom and grandmother taught me when I was a little girl as soon as you get out of bed to make your bed. They said ..when you get ready to go to bed at night, everything feels fresh. Even when I worked and got up at five o’clock for 35 yrs.I always made my bed first.!! 71 years later, And it does feel great when you get in it at night. ❤
Appreciate your disclaimer that you're not an Interior Designer! You're talented but humble enough not to claim a title you don't have, that really makes a difference to others.🧡
My husband and I always have a laugh by giving each other a scorecard on the day’s bed making… we have a deal that whoever gets up last has to make the bed and - as the day goes on - we critique and laugh about our ratings…he has a trick… he smoothes the surface with a coat hanger…😂😂😂… get a life, right??? Thx Drew… awesome as always💕
When the final of my three sons moves out. I need you to come re style my whole house/life. Long story short I got married at 22, first son 23, second son 24 and third son at 27. I’ve had no style of my own ever. As a bonus, right before I got married my in-laws moved in with my husband so I got all of their stuff and never really got to pick my own stuff/style. I’m gonna need all the help when I finally down size!! ❤
After raising 3 children, 2 grandchildren and several pets I got tricked into, I JUST got to the point in life where I don't get up at 6am to have "ME" time. I hope Drew does reach out to you even if it's a Zoom meeting I've opted for boring monochromatic rooms because I don't have the inspiration
They are always coming back! 😂. I have a 30yo and then 22,21,20,20 that are in college. One of the 20’s lives with the 30 locally. The other 20 is home for all school breaks. The 22 lives in a year round apt and the 21 lives in a year round house. The 30 and 20 are in between places so they are moving back here tomorrow with the 30s gf. We have plenty of room. I love my house clean and tidy at all times. I also love to decorate and have my beds like his!! However, I’m going to have to take some deep breaths over the next month. 😂 BUT, I love it! My mom was not accepting of you coming back after you moved out after college…oh my word, what would the neighbors think!!! But that’s one way I’ve chosen to be different than her. I want my kids to know they ALWAYS have a place to go. No, no one is going to just sit around! You have to stay in school and/or have a job, and also help around the house. But you’re always invited back!
Love this creative compilation of bed-making tips and tricks, but most of all, Drew, I appreciate your effort to put out quality content while you are between major makeovers. I'm sure it's difficult to time your projects to come out in any kind of steady stream, and I love when you fill in the gaps with this type of how-to content. Yay for finding a new Lone Fox video!
Drew, these beds are stunning!!!! Favorite one?🤔 tough one. Bed 3 might have a slight edge over bed 4, then bed 1 and last bed 2. Honestly, I felt like I learnt a lot!! Thank you for your wonderful videos. I love all the warm colors you use (can't stand the white/grey look that seems to be so popular). Warmth, charm, style. You have it all ❤
Love love love this! Thank you so much Drew! Every video you make just gets better and better. So stoked to have seen your growth for many years. Proud of you!!!! xoxoxo
Bed 1 is definitely my favorite. I LOVE the stripes with the vintage plaid, with the hint of polka dots from the decorative pillow. But my favorite item in isolation has to be those floral pillows used for Bed 3. 😍
Love adding fluffy pillows on my bed!! When the kids come over (34 and 49) they are tempted to jump on the bed but don't. When the grand-kids (now 24-18-16) used to come over and spend the night they loved jumping into my covers Now the younger two aged 3-4 climb up and jump up and down on the bed....grandma lets them because daddy can't !!! LOL!! I was watching your doggie stick his face into the covers.....my grand-dog (I babysit everyone!!) loves doing that and she loves literally jumping onto the bed. (I have a high bed and as a joke hubby put a step ladder next to the bed the first day we got our new mattress.) Love your designs and glad to have just found you.
Very interesting ideas on making up your bed. I agree with using the king size cover because it does cover all edges. I’ve been doing that for years some interesting patterns there that you use but you’re home isn’t it eclectic style of color, different designs and that’s what makes your channel unique Drew! A lot of great ideas keep them coming, even if they are old ones renewed are refreshed!
It's been over 100 degrees every day for the past month+ here in inland southern California. My bed has gone from multiple blankets and coverlets with decorative pillows to 2 pillows and a sheet with a lightweight throw at the foot of the bed. It's been too much hassle to remove the extra bedding every night then put it back in the morning. Can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can make my bed properly again.
This is literally perfect timing oh my gosh! I've been obsessing over how to fix my bedding for the past few weeks after a move, and nothing seems quite right lately! First world problems, I know, but I am so ready to feel like this place is home. I haven't even finished watching, but I just want to say thank you!!
Wow, what beautiful and sumptuous beds you made! I loved the tips you gave for the third bed…the big pattern, medium pattern and small pattern. The striped bedding underneath looked so great with each style…obviously a must-have bedding choice!❤
All nice, Drew, but the first one was my favourite because the colours were good together, and I think the whole look expressed your personality the most. Loved the striped linen sheets.
Yes, and the pattern/colourway of my duvet cover does all the talking. It's actually how I decide the colour scheme for a bedroom. Much easier to select the paint than the other way round.
#3 I like and already do! As a quilter I display my quilts (changed seasonally/by holiday) on the wall nearby and have matching quilted sham throw pillows on the bed so for me a neutral pallet works well since I’m decorating through the seasons 😊🧵🪡
Your videos are so uplifting and you make me smile! Thank you for that! My favorite bed styling is bed #3. I loved the layered look. Everything you touch turns to magic! ❤
You have such a lovely way of presenting everything you design! I really enjoy watching your channel. Please keep the videos coming!! The last bed is my favorite.🥰
I have been using the king size quilts and covers on my queen bed for years now and it really makes the bed look nicer especially since I have a high mattress and base, and I never end up losing my cover when I'm in bed.
You just solved a problem I have had for 30 years.. I always wanted that fluffy look on my bed . I have a queen and didn't want to buy a huge insert because it was too hot in the summer... KING SIZE INTO A QUEEN DUVET MAKES SENSE... THANK YOU SO MUCH..
Drew, honestly I love all 4 styles! You really have the touch. It's probably just me, but I like to keep the pillows that touch my face totally pristine. I keep them under the coverlet and I put throw pillows on top of that. But I notice that most hotels put throw pillows on top of sleeping pillows, so you're in good company!
Great ideas! And to the one who asked -- yes we are SUPPOSED to make our bed ( That doesn't mean that I do every day.) And if you do make your bed every day, remember to let it air out with the covers back for at least an hour after you get up to let your night perspiration evaporate. Most of all, make your bed an oasis of relaxation that pleases YOUR style.

Oh Drew, moving into a small apartment where we won’t have extra storage for different looks. Also, I’d love to see different looks for different seasons. Specifically a “summer” look. I have a single light weight white woven blanket on right now instead of a duvet. Just too warm a night with no air conditioning. 😉
Ooooo an update to your old video. I rewatch that video sometimes when my bedroom needs a refresh but I don't want to buy stuff (I have a ton of hand me down bedding, so always lots to mix and match).
Comments as I watch lol. #1 is exactly what i do with old hand made quilts. #2 is very vintage 1950s (my grandma's house!) Yes it does stay in place, and no pillows on the floor! #3 patterns yes! #4 the 90s scarred me from ruffles. But the leather + ruffle is a nice feminine+ masculine mix.
Yes! I came on here to see if anybody mentioned this, lol. This is how everyone made their beds in the 60's and 70's, (my childhood years); a simple bedspread. What's old is new again! 😉

3 is my fave!! I Love tight and polished simplicity with layers and lots of pillows!!
My fave is the last one. I love the richness of the brown throw at the bottom of the bed.
I do enjoy making my bed in the morning! To me, it’s great way to start the day, it’s your first accomplishment! Thanks for the bed making tips

They are all great! Living in central AZ means we sleep in a sheet only, but this gave me some ideas how to layer using lighter fabrics.
I love #2! Romantic, effortless, casual.
All nice, Drew, but the first one was my favourite because the colours were good together, and I think the whole look expressed your personality the most. Loved the striped linen sheets.
Making the bed is a workout!!! Love the patterns you used on the one with all the patterns, that's my fave!
In Great Britain we don’t tend to use top sheets, we usually have a mattress cover, then an under sheet and straight to the covered duvet.
Yes, and the pattern/colourway of my duvet cover does all the talking. It's actually how I decide the colour scheme for a bedroom. Much easier to select the paint than the other way round.
Love the fold over idea! Totally doing that from now on.
I've been wanting the sleek designer simple bed look with the pillows tucked under and the bolster pillow! Love this look
I love style 2. I typically love a bunch of pillows. But I love this simple look.
My favorite is the third look, I love the patterns! ✨🤍
Agree, plus I'm feeling fall and craving those tones.
So yeah.. #3 for the win!

Yep! Each style was really nice. Really nice ~~ my favorite was the second with the long, striped pillow., The third was gorgeous too!
Can you post ideas for beds against a wall? Also daybeds?
Drew, honestly I love all 4 styles! You really have the touch. It's probably just me, but I like to keep the pillows that touch my face totally pristine. 3 was favorite....liked the color, texture and just the over all look of the bed.
This is so helpful!! I don't know why but bed styling always feels so daunting to me, love all but especially number 3
#1-2&4 are gorgeous but #4 is my favorite 😍
I really liked the one with the floral and the one front pillow. It's very calming but stylish.
Number 1 is my fav 😊
My faves were #1 and #2 with a small patterned duvet👍🏼💕💖
I love these ideas to mix it up, I’m going to layer a blanket over my neutral linen duvet for a fresh look.
The 3rd one is my fave! Love the combination of colors and textures.
Hi 👋 Winston! ❤
I think 3 and 4😍
My favourite is the 3rd design❤
Agree.
I always look forward to your videos! ❤
Amazing as always I do a mix of 3 and 4 and use European pillows and a breakfast pillow on top of my pillows

The last one with your handmade “roushing” was my favorite. I LOVED this video! Thank you Drew!!🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
❤It's too hard to choose a favourite! Loved all of them. ❤ Thanks so much!
I'd love to see you make a free-standing upholstered bed frame and headboard like the one in this video ( I did already see the wall-length headboard you made). I want to make a velvet upholstered bed frame, but I haven't seen it done well on any YT videos. I bet you would do it well :)
Very elegant and chic.
I have a dark gray almost denim textured upholstered platform bed that I find hard to style.
I love #3 the best!! Beautiful! Hi Winston!! ❤❤
Great ideas. I liked the last one ❤
This video made me feel so cozy!! I love all the colors Drew! Makes me ready for fall 🍂🍂🍁🍁🍄🟫🍄🟫
Love the first one but sorry to hear the plaid topper is scratchy. It looks soft and cozy. Perfect autumn look. Fav season!
#2 was my favorite!
I liked all the styles and the layers. My favorite style was 3, absolutely gorgeous! Vintage Vibes…❤ thanks for sharing! 🪴🧺
Yes!! I'm buying a new king bed and was looking at bedding. This is the perfect video for inspiration. "Great minds"😊
The first one was my favorite.
Oh Drew, moving into a small apartment where we won’t have extra storage for different looks. Also, I’d love to see different looks for different seasons. Specifically a “summer” look. I have a single light weight white woven blanket on right now instead of a duvet. Just too warm a night with no air conditioning. 😉
You are amazing. I started making the bed when I saw the video of styling a bed
I'm going with #3
The rushing got me...very cool...I'm gonna borrow you idea ...thank u very much !!!
Love your style 🥰❤️❤️
Love this kind of content! You inspire me ❤️
Ooooo an update to your old video.
Number 3 surprisingly!
3 and 4 are my fav!
I needed this! Thank you!❤
#2 is the look I grew up with--a bedspread
i ranked them in order of 1 4 3 2. I like my bed to look neat and tidy so i struggle with the linen "wrinkled" look. I think thats why 1 was my fav.
They were all great
#2 is called a bedspread. Whole generations are growing up not ever hearing of them before 😆
Yes! I came on here to see if anybody mentioned this, lol. This is how everyone made their beds in the 60's and 70's, (my childhood years); a simple bedspread. What's old is new again! 😉
I think the length of this bedspread and the linen makes it feel contemporary and dreamy instead of crisp like grandma’s.
@@KM-vq4wgYes! Made the beds using bedspreads when I was a kid! 😂
@@annetteredelico2413 Very nostalgic.
@@KM-vq4wgAnd our bedspreads were faaaar from neutral 😂
Looooove bed no1! ❤
