Thank you! I have been making my bed every day no matter what my mood.. it makes a huge difference & adding a special touch just does the trick. I cannot wait to shop Lonefox this year for Christmas presents! 🎁 I actually love bed styling #3 & #4👌🏼
I just found your channel last week and just love you!! I've been binge watching your videos ever since. I think you have fabulous taste and I just love what you did with all 4 of these beds, but I think number 4 is my favorite!! Keep making these fantastic videos, I sure will be watching...and Happy Thanksgiving to you!
You're right, but he probably makes enough on here. Besides why have people telling you what to do and show when he does an excellent job on his own. I honestly believe this is the new TV. And we get to actually interact with him here.
LOVE that you did this. Not a lot of home decor/DIY content creators show the small yet important things like how to make a bed look like it came out of a magazine, so really appreciate you doing that!! More small/simple yet so important things, please! Much love.
Nice beds. If you like the bed sheets to look crisp, like they were just ironed, make the bed and then lightly mist spray the sheets (including the pillowcases) with plain water, using a standard spray bottle. This works on cotton sheets, which will stretch out as the mist of water dries out. It is a luxury hotel trick. The sheets will look pristine, especially white sheets.
“Cohesion,” is the noun. And you are a GENIUS. Seriously, I am all kinds of confused about how to style a bed, and I watched a few other videos that were…okay. Then I came to you and you managed to bring it ALL together. I agree with the others. You deserve an show.
Flat sheet always goes “face down” so that when you open the bed to get in, you see the pattern (top and bottom) and you are getting “into” the pattern. These are all so gorgeous!
I LOVE this descriptive talk-through format of the video. For us less design-inclined mortals, it is incredibly insightful to hear your breakdown of the reasoning and choices! :)
Oh Drew! I loved all of these stylings, but felt that the 3rd one just tied in all of the colors of your room, especially the dark paneling. And the 4th one added a soft warmth & great texture. Would you PLEASE do a similar video for window treatments? Styling different curtains patterns & colors, with the rods, etc? I would love to see all the different ways you would style a window😍.
Would love a window treatment video. Am totally redoing my windows and my main intention is to draw more attention to the windows and help them be bigger and brighter. Thinking about shutters cause I'm kinda rustic foresty cottagey boho like that
Compared to this it's actually quite boring, haha. I'm from Germany and we only really use one bedsheet and a matching set of one pillow and one blanket. So there are usually no throw pillows, quilts, duvets, or anything else.
@@Nanner823 Just as Marie said, german beds are a bit on the boring side.. but the devil is in the details- A kingsize bed has 2 matresses in 1 or 2 fitted sheets, 2 big sleeping pillows, and 2 duvets (often big down ones) with covers. Maybe a big coverlet and 2 throw pillows if you watch TV in bed. You change up the filling of the duvet in winter for a warmer one or you can clip two summer ones together. Often the matresses are different if the person sleeping in it have different weight, back problems etc. and the duvets being 2 also help with blanket pulling and warm/cold sleepers. I personally have an extra wool blanket on my bed in winter and a few more throw pillows for reading, and yes a teddy bear, no shame the plushies. In hot summer nights I use a unfitted old linen sheet as a blanket. Tucked in sheets and blankets and quilts on vacation are like the devils for many germans. No flatsheet has ever been seen here. And you are seen as an unhygenic barbarian if you sleep without the duvet cover. Yes, hotels really pull off the covers for every guest, which is not so difficult there being 2 small ones instead of 1 ginormous duvet.
I’m in the UK, and the beds here are similarly boring as in Germany, apparently! 😆 Though not as complex as the options Mirabelle talks about! Growing up I just had a fitted sheet covering the mattress, a duvet inside a duvet cover, then usually two pillows for sleeping. It’s not changed super much as I’ve got older, other than the size of my bed increasing! Except I’ve now got so used to having a king sized bed (I believe this is a queen in the US) to myself that anything smaller than that (like a standard double bed) feels super small, ESPECIALLY if I’m trying to share it with someone! 😂 I’m a hot sleeper and can get panicky and claustrophobic (and insomniac) if it feels like I can’t get cool and into my own space, which doesn’t tend to pair well with bed-partners who like to snuggle… the struggle is real! In the summer when it’s hot I do away with the duvet, and just use the empty duvet cover as my blanket - just a flat sheet feels too flimsy and doesn’t satisfy the part of my brain that wants to snuggle up underneath something, but a nice crisp percale cotton duvet cover at least partially covering me seems to do the trick. Literally just last night I switched over from my summer duvet (4 tog) to my winter-ish duvet (9 tog) - I live on the 4th floor in my apartment building (5th floor in American) and my flat tends to hover around 21-23C (69-73F), so far completely without putting my heating on this season (ask me about how I feel in the summer… 🥵), and it was really nice to have something chunkier and more substantial and cosy 😊 My bed styling game definitely needs some improvement… I’ve just got a new walnut wood bedframe, to go with the new mattress I got earlier this year (as tempted as I was by the internet mattresses, I went with a known good quantity and got an organic wool 6000 pocket spring/mini pocket spring mattress from a local company that I’d had many comfortable sleeps on elsewhere! 😴), and right now I’m alternating between a plain duck-egg blue duvet+pillow-case set, and a plain black one (both with mid-dark grey fitted sheet and spare pillow cases). My options are more limited because I do NOT want any polyester blends (speaking as a hot sleeper in general, and nearly-40-year-old-woman, more sweatiness is NOT what I need!), and I really want higher thread count percale weave cotton/Egyptian cotton (though I’m totally open to modal/bamboo/eucalyptus/linen blends!). I think shades of grey and neutrals, as well as greens, really go well with walnut (currently white walls and pale oak laminate flooring everywhere… walls open to change!), so I think maybe just going for different shades of grey (do not even begin to joke about that book!) as well as adding some texture is what I need… hopefully also finding a big patterned option that I like, in the colours and fabrics I’m looking for! I do also have a grey faux-fur throw, which is so warm I can only deal with it covering just the very bottom of my bed on the coldest winter nights, but it definitely brings some good texture! All this talking of beds… it’s definitely past my bedtime now, so I’m off to do some heads-down research 🥱🛌💤
@@EmmaVB82 I think the only difference between UK and Germany is the number of matresses in the large beds- 1 queen size (like 140cm) is very common in first time apartments after moving from home, you switch to double matresses after getting older, getting back pain and able to afford renting bigger rooms. I use my grandmas old lovely damask (cotton or half cotton/linen) duvet covers and pillow cases and sheets and found out, that you can buy these white ones ( sometimes still in the original packaging) dirt cheap on ebay or stuff like craigslist, FB marketplace etc. These are higher quality than even the ones from the nicer hotels, incredible sturdy, very crisp and you can bleach out any stain.
I love this video. Restyling my bed is one of my very few decor overhaul options - I'm renting and can't easily repaint walls, hang art, install light fixtures or move heavy furniture by myself. I change pillows and bedspread and such whenever I'm in the mood, it's low effort and usually fairly affordable.
Inverted sheet bit had me. Then you knocked me out with the inverted pillowcase. You don't know. I've been struggling with this for years. So simple and idc, I love you! Thank you. You provide value in this world! ❤❤❤
I loves this video!! So extremely helpful! At the end of the video you asked if we wanted help styling different things...Um, YES! you should do a styling series!! How to style different things. A hutch, bookcase, nightstand, coffee table, bathroom counter tops...All the THINGS!!! You inspire me to no end and P.S. I LOVE your cardigan!!!💕
I haven’t seen a sheet and quilt used under a duvet before, is this quite usual in the States? In England we seem to stick to just a duvet. All of the beds just look so inviting.
Yes, I find this trend of piling on different blankets very beautiful but unbearably hot. Maybe Maine or Alaska. Likewise the use of an average 6 pillows, I don't have anywhere to pile the extras when I'm actually sleeping! I love those Target sheets too & covet a deep pile faux fur throw! I was at a hotel that used a sheet on top of & below the covered Duvet. I got hopelessly tangled every night, bed so high I needed a chair to get in, looked fabulous though!
I use both. My dog sleeps with me so it helps keep things slightly cleaner. She’s a Dalmatian mix so… I’m blaming her but honestly I make more of a mess than she does.
@@SandraWarmbreath agreed, I bought something to put the pillows / extra blanket on when the bed is in use, but I think I’d need a different set up on the bed structure to really make it more convenient.
thanks! i'm a 55 yr old mom of 4 grandma to 19 and i just have learned so much from you like this video about the duvet fold had to watch it a few times but how nice is that thanks keep up the good work!!
I love the simpler bedding styles. Lately I can't be bothered adding and removing a ton of pillows every day to my bed but I still want it to look nice!
this was so inspirational for my future decor. #1 cream - I used a white duvet +cover (with pinch tucks) over a pure white cotton summer woven blanket and damask printed pillows with aqua, olive and coffee tones on white. Also will get an aqua cotton summer blanket to coordinate (this takes the place of the quilt layer). Something about aqua spells cooling for a summer bed look. Like falling into a pool after you've been sunning on the deck for an hour. Each design gave me ideas for changing bedding looks for every season. Love this!
no drew, you are wrong. every bed style looked perfect. you, just like me or anyone else, lives in an actual house with an actual bedroom. and we don't change rooms or paints or beds every time we change the bedding. so keeping all these facts in mind, the styling was perfect. thanks for sharing so many tips with us. i really appreciate it.
Love all 4 design's. Love that you don't karate chop everything all the time like most UA-camrs. I remember when it first came out years ago and it's still going strong lol thank you for sharing your beautiful mind👌
Thank you so much! I'm a tidy person, but no matter how hard I tried to make the bed, it always looked awful. And I didn't want to spend money on MORE bedding. That simple trifold makes all the difference. My bed looks so nice without being over-the-top
wow that really did help, my bed went from looking okay to amazing. it adds so much more layer and thickness making it look all the more cozy. thanks so much for the tips.
Hi Drew! Loved how you styled the bed!! Picked up a lot of tips I'm going to try. I would love to see you style a buffet. That's an area where I have a little trouble. Would love any tips you could give. Thanks! Have an awesome day!
I love them all. Number 4 is my normal but I love 2 and 3 the most. I think I’m drawn so much to 2 because it’s out of my comfort zone and I’d like to give it a try if not in my master, in my guest room. Thank you as always, Drew! You’re awesome.
Great styling options, Drew! Protect that mattress you love (and everyone will be ordering!) with a quality mattress pad! It will absorb perspiration , oils, etc. that the sheets will not. I know you want to show off that beautiful mattress, but it is worth mentioning that it is part of a well-made bed!
I recently came across your video, and let you know how much I enjoyed it. Unlike other videos and articles I've found, yours stood out for its simplicity, efficiency and creating a beautiful end result. It was refreshing to watch a video that didn't waste time on lengthy introductions or unrelated tangents. Just straight to the point and super refreshing to watch! Your video has quickly become my go -to. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to more helpful videos from you in the future!
Drew is so cute with his little disclaimer that he used the same pieces and each combo might not be perfect in that space but then they were all absolutely beautiful! Such a sweetheart 💟
Thank you for saying it!!!! BEDS are hard & tricky!!! There's a fine line between looking welcoming & looking staged ..... love your tips, tricks & techniques shared XOXOXO
I come back to this video all the time because you genuinely cheer me up when I am feeling down. Your energy is so comforting and I just wanted to let you know you are appreciated ❤️
I have learnt so much from this video ! Thanks so much Drew - the minimalist Bed is the best for me as I hate having to deal with too many pillows and blankets
Here I am one year later, looking for a way to style my guest room bed. The minute I seen Lone Fox, I knew I found the right place. Drew, you are inspiring. Now I can get that luxurious designer look i wanted. I appreciate you so much. 🥰
Fantastic video! "Beds are hard!" I'm so relieved to know I'm not the only one who thinks so! I loved all of your stylings, but #4 has ME written all over it. I'm gonna steal that one! I already have a great bed and 2 beautiful neutral quilts, but just couldn't figure out how to finish it off. Now I'm ready! Thank you!
I love these little mini styling videos! I get overwhelmed thinking about styling a whole house or even room, but doing little bits at a time works great. I would love to see a video on how to make storage look nice when you have a lot of stuff! (I have soo much craft stuff it’s overflowing everywhere!)
Love it! Just bought super special new headboard (from a great secondhand shop that does big things for the community + got to support a local delivery driver small biz) + bed frame (U.S.-made unfinished wood) + non-toxic mattress (White Lotus Home after much research) after weeks of major decision-making...next up bedding in the colors and theme I've been dreaming on...this gives me great ideas!!!
I want to add that you have affordable options and more pricy elements to your design. This is welcoming to all viewers and all budjets. I just hate those designers that only use high price elements to their design and expect every person that views their channel to be able to afford those pricy items.
I had to go to Target and buy those sheets when you posted your autumn bed styling. I also bought the cover with the fringe at the end, of course! My bed looks gorgeous ❤️ Oh and by the way, I have the pinstripe duvet cover 😂 I am sooo paying attention Drew!
Omg the way you styled this bed w the pillows who knew they would blend so beautifully you are amazing !!!! I love that you do not use a pillow of the same pattern of the sheets. Well u did but it is not the focal point !!!! So many people do that. But U go way out the box
Thankyou ! I always do my sheets like #2. I just figured everyone knew to turn over the flat patterned sheet , but not so. I've showed several people how to do this . Then they are like oh I didn't know that . I've been binge watching your Channel. You do a great job, youmg man . And am learning alot of things too. 😌
I love your decor style...!!!! You need a TV show...!! I loved all the bed decor style. My favorite was the first one and the one you add a black quilt. So beautiful and classy..!!! You're The Best..!!
Loved this video....ideas for white sheets with navy piping on flat sheet? Piping is at top and stops 3" from top, goes down about 18" , then makes 90 turn off to the edge of sheet! I can't wait to try these, I'm a less is more person, so glad you mentioned the options for those
Drew, you kept stating the bed styles/designs/colors may not have "matched" your environment of your room, but in this person's opinion, EVERYTHING YOU DID LOOKED FABULOUS!!
Now I want to dive into redoing my house. I love the black fireplace it definitely made it pop. The copper color in the dining room is an awesome choice. It's amazing how just the right color can change everything. I agree that table is beautiful and inviting. Love to you my friend.❤️
Loved this! I was just gifted a new quilt, made by a dear friend who is leaving the country and can't take it with him, and this gave me a great introduction to the elements that I can employ to vary its look.
I tried some of your tips on bedding i already own and it looks so much better! I was getting tired of my bedding and thinking of buying something new, so I'm glad I came across your video. thanks for sharing!
Beds are hard!! In no way am I a professional when it comes to bed styling but I figured I’d share my take on a few beds! Which bed was your favorite?

perspiration , oils, etc. that the sheets will not. I know you want to show off that beautiful mattress, but it is worth mentioning that it is part of a well-made bed!
I’m looking for one right now! Thank you so much :)
This video is amazing! I wish you could do a styling series like how to style dining tables, bookcases, clothing racks, coffee tables, etc.
Drew is so cute with his little disclaimer that he used the same pieces and each combo might not be perfect in that space but then they were all absolutely beautiful! Such a sweetheart 💟
Awesome tips Drew thanks so much 🥰🥰❤️ Always look forward to your weekly uploads!!
Thank you for saying it!!!! BEDS are hard & tricky!!! There's a fine line between looking welcoming & looking staged ..... love your tips, tricks & techniques shared XOXOXO
Thank you for demystifying the process of having a beautiful bedding setup. I especially loved the first one!
I come back to this video all the time because you genuinely cheer me up when I am feeling down. Your energy is so comforting and I just wanted to let you know you are appreciated ❤️
Love your designs. This is how I've always wanted my room to look. Step by step, I think I can do it. Thank you for this wonderful video.
This guy is my favorite when it comes to indoor design, no matter what room he's designing.
I have learnt so much from this video ! Thanks so much Drew - the minimalist
Bed is the best for me as I hate having to deal with too many pillows and blankets
I admire how you arrange and clean your beautiful bedroom .
LOVE the 2nd set! Seems so cozy :)
Here I am one year later, looking for a way to style my guest room bed. The minute I seen Lone Fox, I knew I found the right place. Drew, you are inspiring. Now I can get that luxurious designer look i wanted. I appreciate you so much. 🥰
Loved the pillow end tuck! Just tried them and it gives my big pillows that finished look! 🛌 🙏🏼💜 Going to TRY all your tips 😄
The last one was my favourite. Simple bed for a simple person although I do like them all.
I love your sweater! Would you please share where you purchased it? I love watching you, your style is amazing!
I want to borrow it when he comes over. I’ll tell him to post where he bought it.
Same, it was what my first thought was about
I've been scrolling through comments hoping someone found where that cardigan is from hshshs it's so cute!!
I enjoy videos about decorating. Your body language is uniquely enviromentally friendly.
i would love to see shelf styling. thanks for always sharing you brilliant designs with us. ❤️❤️
I’ve watched this so many times… I just love your personality, your voice everything is just so soothing and honest and nice!!
I love your channel and love that you share content to make the entire space feel like a home!
I love all the styles on the beds but the second one really drew my eye I just love the textures and prints.
Ending looks of all 4 designs:)

Me: makes bed once a week by throwing comforter on top. Drew: makes bed 4 times in 1 day with beautiful layers and textures
Yes, I think that is me as well.
Hi ! Which ones are those exactly? I don't see them in the link. Thanks! :)
I disagree with one thing. Each style was gorgeous and worked well in that room. So beautiful and thank you.
Hi Drew, one question: where do you store all those 30 different pillows? Do you have a storage room at home?
I do! I have a small extra bedroom I use as storage for my videos and craft supplies :)
LOVE THE SIMPLE SOPHISTICATION!!!
Thanks for the tip about how to fold in the pillowcase! I've always felt that my pillows looked messy, and now they're crisp. Yay!
Thanks!
Wonderful! Thanks so much. We live in a bungalow and always trying to style my bed as guests often see it.
I liked them all. My favorite was the one with the black cover. The one With the mixed pillows was very nice!
My favorite one is the one with the dark brown black quilt but they are all really nice. Love those nightstands
It's crazy how good you are at this! Your sheets look so good. I'd have to iron mine (organic=wrinkles) Great work!
OMG I've been needing this video for so long that I clicked like before it even started playing XD Thank you SO MUCH Drew!
Now I want to dive into redoing my house. I love the black fireplace it definitely made it pop. The copper color in the dining room is an awesome choice. It's amazing how just the right color can change everything. I agree that table is beautiful and inviting. Love to you my friend.❤️
Yes pretty please do a book shelf multiple ways. I am so inspired by how you diy stuff to make it work
Love all of this! Especially like how you reused your basics and added from there. Styling anything videos is my request.
Love that black flower sheet set and how you folded the top covering
I really like the breakdown when explained the process. It was a learning experience. All of them are beautiful. I loved the last bed the most.
This is by far the best video I have seen on how to do a bedding
I am so glad I found your page! I was feeling lost about how to style my guest bed but now I have some guidance 🙏
Yo the plant/tree to the left of the bed is kind of the star of the show really pulls everything together
You did that!!! I JUST want to see different way to styles beds. You hit it on the nail. Thank you
Loving #4 simple sophistication but your cardigan, love, love, love!!!
Loved this! I was just gifted a new quilt, made by a dear friend who is leaving the country and can't take it with him, and this gave me a great introduction to the elements that I can employ to vary its look.
This is my first video, and 2 things: I am LIVING for the cardigan and also this was so helpful. Looking forward to watching more of your content!
I’m OBSESSED with your sweater
Thank you so much for your instructions. They should be obvious, but really they're not, and people need to hear them spelled out. I feel so inspired
I love the vibe of your videos. They always make me feel warm and happy. These really help keep me inspired!!!!
I love them all! But the first and the last one is in my comfort zone.
I love the first look. I'm not a fan of bright colors but it's amazing how you put all colors together, love it.
Love the last one so much! All are cozy and beautiful though.
I tried some of your tips on bedding i already own and it looks so much better! I was getting tired of my bedding and thinking of buying something new, so I'm glad I came across your video. thanks for sharing!
Love them all especially no. 2 for myself. No.3 is great for your room!
