Ok, i ordered this set yesterday. FAR out the best, stunning patches, Sequential should have contract you as their main sound designer! Thanks a million for creating this.
ahh mate! finally! in the sea of blade runner/80s ob-6 sounds.. love those too, but been searching for those fonky, warm, neo-soul/future patches. made alot myself ofc, but these are stunning! and ur playing is very dope! cheers. still have that underwatery fwoonky bubbly siney brassy sound in my head that i cant seem to get out.. HELP! hehe
Hey Nick, these are amazing! I'm wondering if "Tonto" is part of the pack (or if it's even possible to recreate on the OB-6 - I don't think it's possible to route LP cutoff to the Modwheel unfortunately). Either way, great stuff!
Sadly, one of the main tricks that makes the Tonto possible isn't possible on this machine. There is a patch that gets relatively close if you constantly play all 6 voices at once, but it's not exact. Thanks for the compliments!
Yes, there is aftertouch assigned on almost every patch, I believe. Unfortunately, I couldn't show that part off given that the ReFace I was using as a controller didn't have AT. Glad you dig them!
Great, thanks Nicholas. Luke Neptune's just released a nice set, different from yours with a different use in mind; retro movie soundtracks. Think Blade Runner, Escape From New York, Terminator etc. There's a guy on UA-cam Kris Lennox doing some really interesting stuff with the OB6 (and others) often with a classical bent to it and I'm brewing a OB6 project that might be of interest. Such an awesome synth. ua-cam.com/video/2V71R6dMcoU/v-deo.html
It will never get close harmonically, but it can get close in application. I don't know that I have anything piano-ish in this pack, but there's a preset or two on the board that have very "rhodes-ish" qualities.

I really appreciate that, and I'm glad you dug them. Thank you!
Could listen to this all day, thank you

Prayers have been answered
I am buying this as soon as I can afford an OB 6 :P
Bad boy sounds! Makes me really want this synth.
BEST IN THE BIZ!! 🔥🙏🏼✔️
Could You post a video showcasing other lead patches, please?
I like the sounds, but I will not pay my money without hearing all the lead patches.
Please, upload a demo of all 50 patches. These are far too expensive to buy a pig in a poke.
The module is dope! I rented it one time. Loved it ☺️
Beautiful
Nick, your voicings are just awesome. Teach us how you apply it on the instrument. :) patches doesn't matter
Great as always !
Awesome patches dude!

@@NickSemrad Thanks! All the more reason to get a REV2 in combi with the OB... ;)
Sounds better than the new p 5
OB6 is Stereo!
we need a Vol 2 bro
Sound great. Have you worked aftertouch in to the patches much?

Anyone know of the ob6 has poly glide?
Any chance you will ever make some Prophet 6 patches?
Sooooon. =)
@@NickSemrad Sweeeet :-)
I'm actually uploading them as I type this. They'll be available for purchase this evening on my website!
@@NickSemrad Nice! Thanks and bought: will install and check the patches this weekend.
What is that Yamaha midi keyboard you are using called?
I know this synth isn’t design to make piano sounds but can it get anything similar/close?

yikes 🔥
Hey Nick, just about to purchase your soundset... just wondering if theres any way to change the banks the patches are loaded in to?
Sadly there’s not...they’re written into the sysex file in a specific way :-/
OHHHHH shit
First !
