I love your voicing in the opening Rhodes sound. Great stuff overall, You may have convinced me that my iridium keyboard and system 8 need a buddy! I sold my pro 3 to get my iridium(never looked back, 🤩) But I do like what I’m hearing with take 5. It will only “take 1200” to buy one
On the Buoyancy patch, how do you achieve the portamento glide on chords? I’ve heard a lot of similar sounds in Nick’s other work (Cory Henry’s Trade it All).
Hi, great work! I have however a very newbie question. On the patch Whiny Power Pad (9:52 - 10:11), obviously more than 5 notes are played at the very same time, but i thought a five voice poly synth could only play 5 notes at the same time. What am i missing please?
I'm not always great at mechanically limiting my chords to 5 notes (muscle memory habit, I guess), so there were points during that part of the demo where I think I was playing six notes at once. However, you're only ever actually hearing five notes as the board can only play 5 voices at a time. What will happen, in those cases, is that the board will 'prioritize' the 'last 5 notes played', so whichever finger was the quickest to play probably got left out of the equation. Hope that helps!
A MASTER at your craft, Nicholas.

Lovely sounds! I am a bit torn about the price tag though. Are you planning another discount?

@@NickSemrad Thanks for the answer, it is now less confusing for a beginner in Synths like me.
