I have several bottles of Lindes de Remelluri Rioja and it's very good value. The thing is £25 is a serious sweet point for many excellent value Riojas. Spanish wine is killing it at that price.
@@winemoneysong - Yes, fortunately this was a first for me in a recent vintage. Interestingly, I have only had corked bottles from Bordeaux, no other region. It could be that most of my aged wines come from Bordeaux. 🤷🏼♂️. What is your experience with corked wine?🍷
@@coryz6880 It is not a country problem it’s a cork quality problem. I have experienced bad corks from every area but as I said the defective cork problem has diminished greatly. There have been times when I pulled the cork and sniffed and smelled the moldy cork but the wine was fine. This means that sometimes the cork is bad but the defect doesn’t get into the wine.
Remelluri blanco is incredible
Thanks for the reviews. I really appreciate the Costco wine reviews. Informative video. Thanks.
Monopole means that there is only one owner of the 'lieu dit', of the named vineyard. Clos means that there is a enclosure around it.
True
I recommend the Lindes de Remelluri Rioja 2016 too.
Where I live (Denmark) it’s been on sale for a while and you can pick it up for $ 15 😊
Nice price! Those are the type of wines that belong on the tables of wine drinkers. Quality & Value.

Would love your thoughts in a video on 2023 Bordeaux futures!
I did a 2023 Bordeaux Futures episode three weeks ago and will have a follow up soon.
I opened the 2016 Chateau Cantemerle on Friday night and it was corked 😩.
The quality of corks have supposedly improved of the decade or two but it still occurs once in awhile. Bummer😢
