It's times like this when I'm thankful for advanced technology. To just sit here and listen to someone play the guitar so beautifully is amazing. I would die to learn this. Incredible.
I’m proud to be contributing to your view count. Been listening to this every day on my drive to and from work in Los Angeles. I’ve seen so many versions of this song played by guitarists on UA-cam but yours is my favorite. Thank you for posting. 🙏🏼
Bravo, excelente. Gracias, maestro, por su ejecución y por compartir. Y que bella obra del genial Leo Brouwer. No me canso de repetir el video. ¡Bravo! ¡Maestro, identifíquese! ;D
Thanks to technology.. From a remote village in India I'm listening this and started practicing classical guitar from past one year.. Your classes of tarrega compositions helped me alot.. Kindly do more from tarrega's work
This was my 5th classical tune I have learned since acquiring a classical guitar christmas day just gone.. you make learning classical guitar real easy. Was hoping you did ave maria as a lesson as that's the nxt tune I want to learn.
When you play a B at 3:37, the original and countless others play C, but I have heard around the same number of professionals play a B like you. Bit confused about what to choose myself! It seems to me that B feels and sounds more natural but C is required to remain faithful to the composer. What do you reckon?
Ah! the dreaded C or is it a B. If you notice at bar 45 the phrase starts on the F and at bar 47 starts on E a minor 2nd lower therefore I would think the last note is also a minor 2nd lower therefore B. I have two copies of this piece both show B or C . It could be a miss print as there are many in Exchig editions of Brouwers and Villa Lobs music. Both sound good I prefer the B as it resolves better to my ears - but who knows. Just play the one you prefer.
My personal favourite is J.S Bachs 'Chaconne ' which I like to play at least once a week. This was the piece of music that really got me interested in the classical guitar after hearing a recording of Segovia playing it.
Do you offer guitar lessons via Skype? Which state do you currently live? Thank you for this song I love it. I actually started working on it. Best from Houston!
I still have the 'Bluesbreakers ' album and the 'Cream' albums when he was at is best. Never liked anything after that. I have done ' Hideaway' on my chanel. ua-cam.com/video/AAnEoehLz8o/v-deo.html

@@boltonguitarstudio3115 Well, I'll probably keep playing the one that Brouwer himself plays :-)
which one of your pieces do you like the most?

@@boltonguitarstudio3115 thank you very much for your reply❤
My pleasure.
Is this piece an easy or difficult one to learn for someone starting out?
This is an intermediate type of piece but does have a awkward stretch for the left hand in the 2nd section.

I am from the UK. I will be doing a tutorial of this piece next. Watch this space.
