- In this video, we show how to install the new AlphaRex LUXX headlights on a 5th gen 4Runner. These will fit from the years 2014-2020. The LUXX series has built-in LED low and high beams so there's no need to buy LED headlights.

Installed mine on a silver 13 limited 4x4 yesterday, but I opted for the led black w the chrome trim around the projectors bc mine truck has chrome accents and not going to black them out. The startup is pretty sweet.
Can you turn the drl off if you want?
The DRLs stay on. You cannot turn off just the DRL
Great video! Wondering which video you cover separating the under hood fuse block. I want to run an add a fuse wire from underneath. I intend to watch all of your videos, just not today. 😊

I just installed these on my 2020 4Runner. Really like the startup sequence, Hight and Low beam. However, i feel the LED turn signals are not as bright during the daytime. Your thoughts?

I did notice that the high beams flicker when left on for a bit. Did you guys notice that yet? Was wondering if I rigged something wrong...
Where did you mount the little box for the drl and fuse for the headlight

Hey I have a raptor lights that uses the inn fuse slot. If I use the t tap with the headlights it should power both at the same place time?
We don't recommend using both
Does the T Tap connector have to be a red one or can it be a blue one?
Are these cheaper than the morimotos? Or about the same?

If I paid you to make upgrades to my truck: I’de be furious if I found crimp connectors in the mix. I did that when installing stuff in my friends cars in my teens. Just saying.
Morimoto and these big companies still use crimp connectors and t-taps. At the end of the day we aren't building race cars

If the LEDs do ever go out on the Luxx model, are they easy to replace?
You need to remove the bumper and headlight housing
