I LOVE PEDAL TONES. I do the exact same kinds of pedals after every practice session, and I actually have a very specific "warm down" routine. If I don't do it my chops always feel tight the next day and it takes a long warm up/time playing for them to feel loose again. Love your vids man keep it up!
Frustrating to me that Flugelhorn and Cornet get that bottom C partial much easier, and Trumpet (for me) just gets an out of tune low Bb on that bottom partial
but thats kind of cheating since you are not playing the lowest partial, but the partial above and loweringwith fingerings and 3rd slide out @@jacob5676
Thanks! I have a question unrelated to this video. I have been playing for 4 years and the highest note I can play consistently is a high C. How can I check and or adjust my embouchure to be able to unlock the upper register more? Love your videos!
when you talk about a relaxed embouchure, do you use that for high notes? also, do you have like sheet music or a longer demonstration of that warm down stamp exercise?
The lowest note I can reach is a Gb, I try everyday to reach lower notes than that, but I'm not able yet, any of you, trumpet players can give me tips? I play the trumpet for almost a year btw, thanks a bunch, your videos really help me improve my sound.
Ive been playing trumpet for 179 years found this really helpful
Wait a minute… 🤔🧐

It should slot easier if you use all 3 valves

I play the tuba, and I can confirm that relaxing your embouchure is really important, especially for high notes
You should be able to hit a true pedal tone without the valves for low C.

What mouthpiece do you typically use?
wait…is it normal that i can do the lower register notes? i literally NEVER did any trumpet lesson, i just bought it!
For the pedals don’t do with the 3 pistols
