Anyone who has taken organic chem and biochem and is still confused will now easily understand what is going on. He talks very slowly and clearly, which seems to escape professors the higher up in education you go. These videos are not only a great refresher for my nutrition practice needs, but is encouraging me to learn more. I give him a 10/10.

Oh my gosh - applied organic chemistry perfectly explained. Thank you for going through the whole pathway! Are there other disorders defined in which other enzymes/parts of this pathway aren't working, please? If yes, how do they present differently from PKU, please? Thank you so much for publishing these lectures!

Hey thank you for the video! Quick question
I want stable long term adequate dopamine levels as I feel they are low
    Question:
Will L Tyrosine do that, or shall I take Phenylalanine instead?
What is more effective and will boost levels optimally on a cellular/plasma/long term level?
    Thank you!

Why do not you screenshot the lecture slides and sell on the Internet as a book? It would be very useful for the AKlearners :)
Your lecture notes are written in your website, I know. But they are not as useful as your blackboard notes because they do not have shapes, figures etc. :(

Sir both coo- and NH3+ are meta directing in phenylalanine but why does the attack of oxygen takes place in para position

Doesn't the tetrahydrobiopterin convert to dihydrobiopterin and then dihydrobiopterin is converted back into tetrahydrobiopterin by the activity of dihydropteridine reductase?

What happened in homogentisate? The carbon chain is in the wrong place compared to tyrosine (meta to the OH not para)
