Excellent video. Well shot and well explained. Just finished my 06 3.0 x type. Close enough and made it easy. I originally purchased bargain gaskets but learned when installing they just didn't fit right. Went with Mahle. A bit more $ but fit like a glove and didn't want to create additional issues as I chased down a number of ignition codes. Thanks again.
Excellent video! When I did the job myself (made possible by you!), I noticed that the wiring harness clips in the back are slotted. When I put things back together I made sure I started those bolts in before trying to attach the harness. It reduced the chance of me accidentally dropping the bolts. When removing the intake the bolts just need to be backed out enough to slide the harness off the bolts.
Is there a reason why you didnt use silicone to seal the lower gasket to the block? Just wondering currently about to do mine and never done it the set im going to buy includes the silicone which im assuming thats what its for. I didnt see you use any
I believe there is no need for any sealant if the gaskets are new and of a good quality. I make use of silicone as a temporary measure only when the gaskets are below any criticism.

Have a 2002 s type and need all 6 manifold bolts. Would you have any to sell?
Sorry to say, I have got only my 6 ones. You can search on eBay. Good luck!
