I read on the Tesla site that if you live in Ontario (or Quebec) you should purchase your wall charger directly from your local service centre so that you're eligible for the rebate. I hope you get your rebate too, but it would probably be helpful to let viewers know if it doesn't work out for you. (I'm curious already... though after hearing your shipping story combined with what I read, I'm pretty sure I'll just purchase it locally to be safe!)

Much better to just order at your service centre! I mailed in my paperwork just last week to the government, so I'll find out in 6-8 months... The invoice provided to me was from Toronto however, so it's legitimately purchased in Ontario.

Actually because you ordered it from Tesla online through the U.S you are not eligible for the charger credit and this is stated on the application. You have to order it through the service centre until Tesla corrects their website orders for Canada.

NorthStead Landscaping - North Bay - Callander , my invoice is from Tesla Toronto so it looks like this has been fixed already. But I guess I won't know for a few months.

They must have fixed the site since I ordered last so you should be okay if the invoice has a Canadian address on it.

There aren't very many charging stations in the Maratimes. But, I keep hearing rumors of discussions about superchargers in a few key locations!

Supercharging stations are definitely sparse in even our area too except along the major highway. I'll keep the reviews coming!

How did you manage to afford a tesla? I would like to know because people have a lot of ways of buying Tesla's. Also I own the white model X P100D with the cream premium interior

At one time the finance rates were very attractive. In addition to the incentives provided by the Ontario government which are now gone, buying a Tesla much much easier. How are you enjoying your P100D?

The P100D is amazing, when I was buying the P100D I was worried that I would have to charge my car more often because the P100D has a smaller range then the 100D. Other wise the car is amazing, I have no regrets on getting the P100D model X.
What is your experience so far with your Tesla model X?

Very true! At least not in a traditional sense. I can't promise I won't slip up again though since I'm still getting into this new way of thinking myself! I might do a video on it later since several have asked me about it too.
