Do you have to take the thing apart to do all 4 or can it be done in place? Seems like a lot of work to change some sensors, what do garages charge for this?
Im about to replace 2 of them on my mothers car. But the new ones are not color coordinated like the old ones. In fsct the only visible difference between the new ones is one of them has a slightly longer wire. Does it matter which one goes where?
So the lower o2 sensor in the back of the engine (the easy one to get to) Is that considered Bank 2, Sensor 2? That’s what code my Mazda Tribute is showing.
The bank 2 is the sensor close to the radiator and sensor 2 is post cat or after the cat down stream. Thank you for watching and best of luck on your project.
Hi, I have a p2270 as a code. It tells me O2 sensor stuck lean. My question is if I change the O2 sensor which was an aftermarket sensor could it be the sensor that went bad? I put it on 3 days ago n now it’s back
Yes that is a possibility and with O2 sensors these cars can be very particular , where only an OEM can be used or they will throw the check engine light. Great question I appreciate the feedback.
Solid video, with really helpful (and difficult!) camera work. Thanks for filming this.
Thanks I appreciate the great feedback , thank you for watching

Idk how you got the front one above the cat out. I can't even get my ratchet in there at all. Been trying for 90 minutes .

I believe they are exactly the same so if the wire reaches they should be fine . Thank you for watching

The bank 2 sensor 2 is up behind the cooling fan/radiator . The down stream sensor is sensor 2 or post cat. Thanks for watching
Can you please tell me at what part of the video you pointed out bank 2 sensor 2? Thank you
