The "Hack" Way To Replace E46 BMW Speakers!

This is not the proper way to do it, but here is how you make 6.5" round speakers work in your BMW E46 3 series sedan (coupes have different speakers I think)

I have some 6.5 speakers laying around for 2016 bmw 328i. Is it possible to get them to fit the same way

If you have an E46 convertible, the rear speakers in the quarter panels are 5.25".

I just snapped off the three tabs and used them as spacers/washers and the installation works perfectly.

I personally would have used Elmer's School Glue rather than hot glue but to each their own.
