Thanks for your excellent videos regarding car stereos. I'm a longtime fan of Kenwood products. I will be having my audio system replaced with all-Kenwood gems. I follow classical music and jazz so I'll be going for soundstage and detail. It will be almost identical toy your installation on the 2020 4Runner "Stormtrooper," except I'll be using the Excelon DMX1057XR.You guys are a true inspiration! Thanks for all your hard work, long hours and integrity!

I'm curious if there were components in the rear why not put a component set back? Customer choice? Great video as always guys. Watching your channel has made me a way better installer!
You could do that. A lot of aftermarket tweeters are really too bright sounding for good rear fill

I'm guessing that these rear speakers will be powered by the radio, and the front components will be bi amped with the Kenwood 5 channel amp.
Wouldn't the XR-1701 pair better with the 6902 fronts? Both go down to 45hz. Same rated power handling.
Where the x174 goes to 69hz and rated at 80w instead.
Real world it probably doesn't change much. But I've been thinking of going with either for my back panels.

Sure does actually! It's also a 2 way coax.
I know most people don't care about the rears. But that tiny extra bit of strong midrange and bass, helps so much.
how come i have never seen you guys install a capacitor to keep the battery from dying?
Caps don't work, I know, I've installed caps in my car and really no different. Five stars specifically install daily drive system that don't consume much amperage. Hence, no high output alternator, no second batry, and no caps. Have a great day!
