Baron! The easiest way to identify a dive bomber or Torpedo bomber is that Dive bombers generally have those wings that start out flat but then curve outwards, whilst torpedo bombers have straight wings.
You can also look if they have a torpedo or bomb Anyways you can't be for certain using this but is a fun way to identify between the TBF/TBM and a Dauntless besides just looking for air brakes on the trailing edge of the wing Good comment

It’s main purpose was to protect the vulnerable internal areas of the ship, and in some cases help with keeping the ship afloat by creating an enclosed air pocket which (hopefully) couldn’t be penetrated by enemy ordinance.
I don't know what it'd be called but base management whilst in game matches would ba badass and pretty neat. Building fortifications and whatnot is always nice to see

The AA flak fire that comes from the 18.1 inch guns is cause from a certain ammunition they used called the Beehive round. This was a shell filled with shrapnel and metal shards that were sharp. It is also filled with with flammable liquids like phosphorus I think. These would explode mid air making clouds of shrapnel. Even though in theory they were pretty good, the large guns couldn’t rotate fast enough to track aircraft accurately.

USS Tennessee is a WW1 era battleship btw, she was although she was refitted after being raised from being sunk at the attack on Pearl Harbor. You can tell she's an old ship because of her hull design (dreadnaughts were phased out by the end of WW1) and her gun caliber (the world largely had moved on from 14" guns and onto 15" and 16" by most of WW2). Not to mention most battleships and even battlecruisers designed in WW2 were almost 50% larger than her by displacement with much heavier armor. She and her sister dreadnaughts, although were refitted to better suit the needs of the Pacific Campaign, were relegated to convoy escorting, shore bombardment, and coastal defenses, as their very meager speeds of 21kts could not keep up with fleet carrier operations. Dropping off troops wasn't really the duty for battleships let alone any warship, that duty was for the landing craft.

The correct way to to simultaneously attack with 500 aircraft. Doing it 4-5 at a time would end the same way. There should be 3 or more other carriers to make it an equal fight.

The Yamato trying to ground itself was in fact a real thing, during the US invasion of Okinawa, the Japanese sent a task force to Okinawa (Yamato included) to go and beach themselves on the island to essentially become me an unsinkable fortress and prevent the invasion, that obviously never happened because it was sunk by US planes before it got there
Funfact: The yamato in this video beached herself on a shore. It clearly copied the original plan of the yamato on her last voyage which is Go to okinawa and beach herself to be like a fortress, but sadly unlike in this video, the yamato lost to the planes and sank

Who ever made this mod does not know about the Yamoto first,I believe it had more guns,second there were way more aircraft carriers and some friendly destroyers , the Yamoto was firing at the carriers and destroyers,last but not least there were also multiple Japanese cruisers in the fleet
