@@wadewilson8011ost likely not cuz those who don’t know are probably parents people brought along. *personal experience* I just went to listen the genshin symphony at prince mahidol today with my parents and friends and my god it was amazing. It was the same exact band performing. The conductor pretty funny too as he tease you around. You’ll also see merch booth and cosplayers at the lobby.

My son is 5, and is a big Mario from Nintendo fan. He just listened to “Kingdom of predators for the first time”. I had him close his eyes and listen so he can tell me what he thinks the song was about. He told me he thinks it’s about Mario who wasn’t able to save peach and is now in heaven, so he’s sad about it 😭😭😭

@@anormalperson9974 When you watch the arc more than once you start to remember the OSTs and when they were used . Like the gon and netero osts i remembered from first watch because the scenes were so important and impactful.
Hunter x Hunter's soundtrack may be my favorite anime soundtrack of all time. So much classical influence. I love it!

The fact that every single of one the chimera ant arc songs gave me insane goosebumps just because of the memories I have from the show, it really goes to show how truly phenomenal the chimera ant arc is, Tagahashi is a literal mastermind and I’m forever thankful he created the masterpiece that is in my opinion the greatest story ever told, The Chimera Ant Arc

@@ethanadkins4052his spine is barely working. As he stated before, for multiple years, he couldn't sit. He even went to toilet in shower, because he couldn't do it otherwise. He became bit better recently, but not that much. He found a way to slowly continue draw, even if with some help from side and wanted to switch HxH to monthly format.
But not sure when it happens, as no time range was given.
The Orchestra in HxH, ESPECIALLY the Chinera Arc is amazing

Why is it that anime/video game music always sounds so amazing in symphonies, rather than the usual symphonies created exactly for that purpose? By the way I loved Kingdom of Predators here, it was perfect and sad.
The game and anime orchestras can be considered superior to classical ones because there are more techniques diacovered through time that are included in the recent ones. So the newest orchestra songs ahould be technically far superior to the older ones.

Not only the arts have advanced but also more recent soundtracks are more attuned to our expectations.
I really know a lot of classical pieces and concertos, but this anime music is something else.
Esepcially Kingdom of Predators. This particular soundtrack came from some parallel universe where musicians are worshiped as gods.

@@guidomista8448 I think there is too much noise in DN sountrack, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love those tracks too, but HxH collection is far more refined. DN tracks had a more singular vibe, while HxH allowed a far wider range of emotions and stories to be conveyed through it's music

HxH has such a dynamic range of music variation.
Only OST's I've seen come close is AoT and FMA
Yoshihisa Hirano, Akira Senju, Hiroyuki Sawano and Yutaka Yamada are only some of the greatest anime composers
HxH OST is more divert and deeper than AoT's.
The latter doesnt have advanturous/funky/weird bizarre music in it as HxH does. And the gap gets even bigger if you add the 1999 version.
2011 and 1999 HxH combo is just the ultimate shit when it comes to soundtracks.
AoT and FMA? I'm always looking for good anime with especially good, melancholic or dark diverse and epic music.

One of the things that struck me most about Hunter x Hunter was the music. It's outstanding!
To hear it performed by a symphony like this, too, really brings home the sophistication of it. They truly outdid themselves when they composed the score for this series. All of these songs are timeless, and are an inextricable part of the series. I truly don't think we would feel the same way about Hunter x Hunter without it!

@@Slashhead1 -- I went back for a re-watch recently and it really is perfect! That opening where they're talking about The Rose, the nuclear device that's planted in Netero's heart, and they're playing that violin piece throughout the entire sequence -- independent from even the show itself, it is an incredibly emotional scene.
The way they're able to accomplish so many emotional moments through the score is something you typically only see in high-budget films. For an anime, it's unheard of.
I wonder what Yoshihiro Togashi would be thinking if he was at that concert? It's unbelievable how a seemingly trivial thing like a manga could make such an impact on so many people. Without Togashi putting pen to paper we wouldn't have a HxH anime and without the anime Yoshihisa Hirano's masterful score for HxH wouldn't exist. It's amazing where things can lead to.

The OST from HxH is actually pretty complex, pieces like the Hegemony of the Food Chain are D E M A N D I N G, so u need a pro philarmonic to play it, wich yeah, pretty darn expensive.

I always loved the Hunter x Hunter soundtrack, but seeing the orchestra actually play it hits different.
It gave me chills when kurapika was sitting there, with all of the scarlet eyes in front of him. Just shows how much pride he had.
I got a sense of pride too but i mostly felt soery for the guy. He went through some shit to get those eyes and they arent even all of them yet
not what i got from that scene bruh, for me he felt in a bottomless pit of sorrows

I’ve recently heard that musicians can barely get jobs and good pay. Seeing how many musicians are here it makes me want to create songs that require insane amount of musicians to play just so they have a job and can get paid
