Ah, interesting. For me it was David; for my sister Shaun, though my sister is only three years younger than I am. As an adult, I can see the appeal of Shaun for sure. And I have to say, he seems more comfortable in himself than David ever did...I don't know, just more like he liked himself. But then David really got the short end of the stick growing up, didn't he. I don't know how it was for Shaun. Have to read more.

I don't think so at all. I grew up in the '60s and watched Jack Cassidy in many different shows as well as seeing the brothers a little (I was too old for their shtick). Jack had a very, very distinctive voice whom no celebrity comes close to sounding like.

I heard your nephew Jack's religious music. Good luck to him. May your family continue to heal after losing David. I was only 3 in 1970, but enjoy the reruns of PF. I also liked the Hardy Boys as a kid. All the best to your family. Your mom is so sweet. My sympathies regarding Marty as well.

Tell me a kid who has not snuck in somewhere they did not belong. David was raised by his mother but inherited his father's drinking problem. David had huge issues trying to get his dad's approval. David was on Broadway with Shawn in a very popular play, Brothers.
