X-Men: Evolution is an American animated television series based on the X-Men superhero team appearing in Marvel Comics. The series takes inspiration from the early issues of the source material and follows the X-Men as teenagers rather than adults, as they learn to control their developing mutant powers and face various threats. X-Men: Evolution ran for a total of four seasons comprising 52 episodes from November 4, 2000 to October 25, 2003 on Kids' WB, which made it the third longest-running Marvel Comics animated series at the time, behind Fox Kids' X-Men and Spider-Man. The series was aired on Disney XD from June 15, 2009, to December 30, 2011.

I just love how David Kaye is essentially having a conversation with himself voicing both the Professor and Apocalypse
Makes sense that Apocalypse would do this to the Professor and the others, only a fool kills potentially useful assets and all four of them are very powerful mutants
kinda feels like the producers decided to end the Apocalypse story by going back to the classic look; as if they were telling fans "There! He's BLUE now, ya happy!?!?"
This episode was amazing. Can't wait for the second part. The person who voices Apocalypse is David Kaye, who also voiced Megatron and Galvatron in Transformers Armada, Energon, and Cybertron.
Kaye was also Xavier in this show
2:50. Canon in training is that they kept looking for him, including at the circus. But they didn't find him coming back, until now. They could've thrown a line in making that clearer imo.
Apocalypse did kill Magneto, Charles and Storm, just look at their clothes, as a kid's show you just get the hints, but Mistique was confirmed dead also, so this all means that Apocalypse is also able to resurrect and recreate people, that's how powerful he is.
Mystique didn't die. Apocalypse collected her stone pieces and re-assembled her off screen.
After the last episode, watch static shock this hero gets no love
Apocalypse is voiced by Professor X
Ironically over a decade later he'd voice vandal savage in young justice. A character with a very similar philosophy.

Why steal away one comrade to make the Horsemen of Death, when you can steal away 3 to make into Horsemen? And also Mystique. But even she is now far more lethal than she has ever been capable of. Even if she's not much of a weaponized hostage in the way Charles and Ororo are.

Definitely wish the arc had been the focus of season 3 so we could have season 4 as the pheonix arc, but this arc is a fun take on the horsemen!
