The 04-08 F150s are great platforms to build on my dad and I both have one and they have been very reliable with tons of aftermarket support as a plus.
I don't know much about trucks, but I'm in the market for a new vehicle and I want to get something that's reliable, I can work and learn on, and is going to be good for future mods like lifting and maybe like overlanding/camping. I can't find any good videos going over pros and cons and long-term ideas considering newbies. Like some of these recommendations are a no-go from some other youtube mechanics, and my own coworkers all have different ideas. One says get a new tacoma. One says get an old silverado. One says get an suv. ALL say lifting is stupid and are pre-judging me for it, but I think it's cool. Why would I not wanna roll around like a tank? It's not like I'm gonna neglect and let my new vehicle rot after I spend 10s of thousands of dollars on it and worked to get it set up how I want. Anyways, if you got a video like that or a couple videos you could recommend, that would be a godsend. I'm not a car guy, but I want to be, but I'm going to be buying a car way sooner than I have time to naturally learn about vehicles lol
3rd gen cummins I love my 3rd gen only problem is it had some rust and the 48re is horrible in them if you get one don’t be suprised to be putting a new transmission in soon after about 150k+ miles, my 48re lasted 365,692 miles before she went out so I was very impressed with it. They have a ton of aftermarket options and the trucks are not expensive at all super fun to drive and super cheap to turn up. I could have my own special show build for about 17-18 grand total the new power strokes and duallys are way more than that. And not to mention that the 5.9 cummins is one of the most reliable engines ever. I put a 5 speed conversion in the truck and I wouldn’t trade it for anything so that’s why i think it’s the best truck.
You should’ve added the 99’ through 07’ ford F250’s body styles. Those, the obs’s and the 17’ through 20’. Any of those with a 6 inch leveling kit with some 24 and 22 forces. Mm mmm mmm fire🔥
Day 2 of asking Custom Offsets to feature a Ford Explorer Sport Trac in a video!!! My truck isn’t even in the gallery YET but there are some really nice Sport Tracs there!!!
The 07-13 Chevy body style is probably the worst years made for looks. 03-07 classic cateye and 14-18 look the best IMO. It’s just something about those big square rounded headlights on the front end just don’t look good. Plus the interior of an LS series or LT cateye are way better than the GMT900s. Yeah it’s a little dated for the dash but the outside is where a show build counts
@@colbykemp8764 have you modded your Titan???? I got mine with the 6” rough country lift, added the katzkin seats, 22” Off Road Gear Ratios from Custom Offsets, 33 Venom Terra Hunter RT, the sound system is all Focal and JL-W3 soon to swap out the subs for the 4 pack of sundown x8v3, and installing the black horse rear bumper in a week or so

You guys make me love living in New Mexico, we got trucks here from like the 50s and 60s that don't have a spot of rust on them
Love the cat eye trucks better. U guys should do gassers trucks. I’m saying the tacos trucks too

2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 "custom"
Any SUV
3rd Gen 4runner, for all the offroad guys out there.
What about the Chevy cat eye ?
That's a picture of a 14+ sliverado, not 07-13.
Technically the 4th gen hds go to 19 instead of 18 so it'll be a bit easier to find 4th gen cummins instead of the 4th gen 1/2 tons
1991 Chevy 1500
Silveraydo 😎😎
Dang no OBS Chevys? Kinda hurt bud
4Runner. 💪

how was a 2014-2018 gm not on here ?????????????????????

Not gonna lie the 07-13 gmc sierra’s are probably one of my favorite body style trucks, not a big fan of the chevy 07-13’s either
idk how the 14-18 gm isn't on here .. fav body style out of any tuck out that and the 15+ f150s and 17+ alumidutys
The Titan is under rated and not enough product support
Finally Someone else sees my pain also. I second that.
I wish I could hook it up some more, I have a black horse rear bumper I am about to install and some sundown x8v3 a quad pack to go in
