Is it even a real Aquaholic review if Nick doesn’t find a nice little area to tuck yourself away with a good book?
Lol 😂 yeah true, you're absolutely right well spotted!
Either that or the mirror wave, and by the end of the day we'll all call it Miele 😂
Or wave at you in a mirror
Or tuck yourself away from the main party
There is at 3:40.
Talk about shaking things up. This Broom has just swept me off my feet. For a 37’ boat the interior space seems from a much bigger boat. Thanks for bringing us this interesting unit. 👍👍
My dad used to work at Broom. Nice to see what he was producing.
Cool!
Just a few examples of why I only follow Aquaholic... Professional, Yet fun. Detailed Tours with true knowledge. Extreme Variety.
Thank you Nick for putting together a tour of something that really is very unusual, as well as, quite interesting.
I really am impressed by the entire layout.
Surprisingly, I quite like it.
You're very kind 🙂
I now see £220,000 as 'affordable'. Thanks Nick for artificially inflating my wealth!
I mean at the end of the day its a house on the first row to the beach. You dock it in italy or spain and have a better view than people that paid millions for their apartment. And the best thing you can choose in which city you want to live in
Its basically a floating house with big engines inside of it
Pffftt... bargain 😀
Try watching Enes Yilmazer. Lovely guy, amazing videos - mainly of LA property. There comes a point you're thinking 9 million dollars for house without land is a bargain.
@@darthkek1953 Thank you! :)
We moored next to one of these in the med a couple of years ago. The owner and his wife had retired and brought her down through the French canals to Marseille had a bit of a boozy night with them on that bridge deck just remember its not an easy climb down to a Med mooring after a few. lol.
Nick your videos are the best. After having to put my little fur baby to sleep recently, I could not sleep, so I turned to your videos to keep me company during a few sleepless nights. Your videos, might be about boats and boating for some but they are more. They are great escape for me and a peek into another world, just when I needed it most. Keep up the great work!
I'm sorry to hear about your fur baby...
The best layout for a boat. Should be much more popular!
what a Clever use of space. Thanks Nick
Excellent Thruster controls ! No squealy floors, it must not be FRENCH ! It looks in pristine condition for a 2015 Model. Well done. This is a really excellent boat for the money. A great value for the money. And No squeaky floors ! And be aware Yachtworld shows this boat as " sale pending". Good job Aquaholic.
Definitely a bit of a drawback in terms of outdoor seating with an aft cabin compared to a fly bridge boat, but you really can’t beat the indoor accommodation for the size of boat. Liked this one just like the Broom 450 you did a while back.
@@ironichumorist Fore for sun lounging, pus some cushions out. Not every foredeck needs to be a Portuguese Bridge.
An aft cabin really works for inland waterways, though. It’s the best compromise for internal space, visibility of the whole boat from the helm, and accessibility for landing and mooring.
Meanwhile, flybridge boats have a massive air draft which restricts the number of bridges you can navigate under.
Utterly impressed for a 37ft boat. 👍. Another hat trick Nick.
There's a lot to be said for the spaciousness of this 37' cruiser. Only one helm station doesn't bother me. What does bother me is only one engine, not the best choice for long distance cruising. If there's not room for another engine, I would opt for outboards. The boat is very well laid out and I must say a few words about that massive aft cabin. Good storage and hanger locker, plus the large head, and it looks very easy to walk around the bed and put fresh sheets on.
Well done Broom!!
I love this boat! Has a real mini super yacht feel for a reasonable price.
This boat would give Dr Who’s Tardis a run for its money! Love it!
Those Brooms are seriously lovely pieces of kit, well put together and oozing quality, you can see why they command the prices they do. Lovely tour as always Nick
Be great for popping over the channel and exploring European waterways as well 👍
I’m becoming a bigger fan of aft-cabin boats; especially this one with so much space! I could definitely see myself cruising down a river on this boat!! Love it Nick! 🙂
Another builder I am not familiar with but I like this boat for her size and money Nick thanks as always for the tour mate 👍🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it
Its a shame they don't build boats anymore.
@@aaronwebb7090 I did not know that ya seems like nice boats they built 👍
Nice to see Jack the Sack is relaxing on this beautiful boat.
Category B rated, so don't take it out in a really bad storm and your good. Lots of room inside too.
Probably best on European inland waterways though. Quick dash across the channel and you can get the Med via canals and rivers.
👋 Hi Nick. A great river boat, coastal. Lots of practical welcoming interior space and exterior deck. A clever design with a stylish look. Similar to Haines. I like this one. Great walkthrough video tour thanks 😊
Excellence in action again. It is indeed pronounced Chaise lounge Sir Burnham!
Two decent cabins, lounge and galley in a 37 footer, great !
Excellent episod of a boat that is actually possible for me to own. Thank you so much for your entertaining programs, the only thing missing is more of them!
More coming!! 😃
What a great master cabin for a sub 40 footer!
Crazy layout! Definitely a River boat style, thanks Nick!!
That has got to be one of my favourites so far. A great river boat with possibility of cruising around the coast. For the size, the layout is great and ideal for the average family. Nice one, Nick.
Given Broom’s facility is about 2 minute walk from my boat I really should love these, and I do!
Great tour, superb boat for rivers or sea 👍
This again shows that there is no such thing as a typical boat design, the average boat doesn't exist.
Lovely little boat with excellent facilities and tardis like space within 37 feet, amazing.
Excellent tour as per, well, always.
Thank you, take care and stay safe. 👍👍👍⛴🛳☠🛥🚤🏴☠️⛵🚢⚓😎
You keep finding these desirable boats , I’m hooked Line and sinker. Cruising down a river on a Sunday afternoon seems very tempting . 😀👍
nice boat. Intelligent design, like the lowering arch. I like the high driving position this layout gives you, you get a better view of everything
I still prefer a good trawler, but this style of boat really gives good interior space. Compare a 40 foot trawler to this, and this wins for space.this would be an excellent live aboard, especially at this size. Another top notch Aquaholic Tour!
As it’s primarily a river boat, I wonder about the stability if going out to sea.
@@izziebon Nice heavily built boat with great sea keeping qualities
This is incredible for the length. A great size guest cabin, galley, big sitting area and a full beam main cabin on a 37ft. Wow 🤩
Nice Vlog and boat!👍 Well done interior to fit that into a 37' boat, makes it feel like a larger size than it is. I like that they did a thick aluminum floor with thick insulation panels to keep down engine noise and it makes the floor panels quiet and no squeeking/rubbing noise like when you walk across a thinner panel on a wood or fiberglass floor. Lot of boat for the money!
Nice cozy boat with a surprisingly lot of space inside
Very interesting to see how even such a small boat have a lot space.
Thx Nick..
Realy a eyeopener
Glad you enjoyed it
superb yacht for the price
I really liked this layout for something under 50'... especially the master cabin and how spacious the living area is below deck. I watch a channel about the great loop and draft and height is something you have to watch out for. I love the hinged arch for that reason.
Perfect boat with a spare outboard for channel crossing and doing the French Inlands
I really need to move to Europe! Fabulous boats at very fair prices. This one would be perfect for my liking and lifestyle! Thanks again Nick!
You're making me like Brooms :)
I'd get to the engine easy through that access hatch. I'm only 5'7", and I'm skinny, so I'd probably get round it too
Nicest proptioned boat you have shown in a while and with the removable covers a nice outdoor area as well.
Great to see a more “affordable” yacht as well and this one looks fantastic with a very functional layout by the look of things, nice size too, thanks for sharing and all the best, Paul
The whole double helm position is something I never really got, especially on boats under 50 feet.
Some makers offer them as options to a pair of buckets, and they're really popular. Some people are larger, some couples like to snuggle at the helm... not everyone has the same wants & needs as everyone else.
Me? I'd also rather have THE CAPTAIN'S THRONE so I get where you're coming from...
@@darthkek1953 I think Fubuki meant that they don't understand why you would want two helms on a boat under 50 feet, not twin seating at a helm.
@@aaronwebb7090 in that case, okay. It's for if you want to be on the top for visibility and wind-in-your-face, down to be protected from the elements.
@@darthkek1953 please understand that I was never confused by, nor against, multi-helm yachts. I was just explaining a comment you misunderstood.
@@aaronwebb7090 i get that I was just making the point for Fubu. Thanks for letting me know about the difference between double helm positions and double helm positions. :-)
Sweet thing! Interior looks newer and more modern than some new ones. Loads of space for a 37 footer. Not a fast one, but not a slouch either. Great! Cheers!
I see the benefits from a space saving POV, but i still prefer having the cockpit right off the bathing platform and sunbathing on the front.
Anyone else think we need to see a watch collection from nick!!? Already can spot 2 gems, 3 including the goat of a Garmin!
Swept away by this Broom. As would be expected, this is a tidy layout. Puns aside (challenge for me), the Aft Cabin style puts the perception of a Fifty Footer into a hull just 37' long. And unlike some aft cabin boats, this has some very sleek lines that accentuate the yacht ethos of this foreshortened vessel. At just under a quarter million, it does look like a real value (for nearly any millionaire). But as a pleasing appetizer to a dreamt of future - I'd take it. Thanks again, Nick for yet another Aquaholic treat. You truly are the dream maker.
I bristled at your broom pun, but I got a handle on it.
Now you’re talking 🙂
Aft cabins are the way... aft cockpits are better for jumping in and out of, or fishing.... but for accommodation, you can’t beat an aft cabin layout. I always view a cabin boat as a holiday afloat and will sacrifice a reduction in access for the room it provides....
Years of Broads holidays on various cruisers, Bell Boats, Moore’s of Wroxham and Richardson’s to name a few.... mostly centre cockpit around the 40ft mark.... 😎🇬🇧
What a really appealing boat! Love the layout and that master cabin is superb! Looks so light and cheerful throughout! Great tour Nick
Reminds me a lot of the 60s Chris Craft Cruisers. Looks very accommodating!
Uploaded 1 min ago and already 6 likes, i love this channel!!
Loved the cupboards. You can't beat Broom cupboards.
What you did there. I see it. 😑
Hi Nick, I was on one of these at the Boat Show a few years ago and it was very impressive. It feels like a much larger boat. I'm sure the one we were on had twin engines which would be my preference. These are very well made boats and fantastic value for money, great to see one again. Thanks 👍
Nice boat Nick. Would love a holiday on the Norfolk Broads on something like this.
The River Thames is more interesting, or the Strathclyde in Scotland
Great video, Love the boat in fact its called Azura and will be on the upper Thames. Taking delivery last week in March. One thing missing - no drinks fridge by the helm, there is now.
Fantastic - enjoy!!
Lovely and not that expensive, great. Thank you👍
There are a lot of this sort of boat on the larger rivers here in the North - it’s a great choice.
Another great review, Nick. Thanks.
Great timing Nick, these are perfect to watch while I'm on my lunch break :)
I don't really have an interest in boats, but for some reason I love these tours!
Dear Nick, first of all thank you for this new video. I'm guessing the word you are looking for is "chaise longue" (French word) 😉.
killing it nick!! unreal how much ur able to upload with all your channels and keep the quality A1!!
Thank you! :)
Thanks for another great video Nick! You do a great job at keeping us entertained through lockdown, love this channel!
Much appreciated!
Nick: I'll side that back, leave it as I found it.
Me: you left the middle-section flyscreen open. I WON'T SLEEP TONIGHT.
😄
Don't worry. The fly screen attaches to the shade with magnets. So yes, he left it as he found it. Sleep well!
Great review as always nick.
Bit of feedback here, you did mention it in this review, but in the future can you tell us the CE certification of the boat in the review if it has one, or just generally what seas the boat can deal with. Thanks nick for the great free reviews, feel like I should be paying for these 😃
It's a B.
Simply an awesome little yacht )
Nice looking boat.
Great boat heck of a lot of space ,love the aft cabin really nice.
Great video. It kind of looks like a modern remake of the Turbo 36. A lot of accommodation for a boat of this size
One of the nicest layouts I've seen yet (apart from my favourite Flemings, of course)
It’s a great shame Broom have stopped making boats, their build quality and design was superb.
Totally agree!
We am a little biased, currently living on our 450 in Greece having travelled here from the Uk through the French canals 😀 #livingthedreammed
@@davidsanders1877 Awesome! If you ever make it back to the UK we ought to do a 'Meet The Owner' with you about the boat and your adventures.
@@AQUAHOLIC yes we would love to do that, but why don’t you come to us ? Ledkada in the Ionian at the moment but heading through the Corinth canal and into the Aegean as soon as we are able to move again., weather is beautiful, you would be very welcome 🌞
@@davidsanders1877 I'd love to but it's time and travel that's the challenge (especially at the moment). I envy your boating though. Maybe one day!
Lovely boat! I always wonder who makes up the prices.. I see boats with simular layouts for soooo much more... But this layout is perfect :D
It's stunning and massive boat Nick Sir... With all modern stuff.... Looking dashing Nick Sir..
I absolutely adore broom boats. Another great video
Many thanks!
That Broom IS 'sea-purb'. (I thought I heard Nick say that.)
That is a super impressive layout for it's size. The master is nearly as spacious as the one in the 64' Galeon you toured.
Love it. That is a fab amount of space for the money. I cannot make my mind up where I would best like a boat - inland or on the coast. This potentially solves both. Great tour as always Nick.
Seems like an ideal river cruiser! I’m impressed by the price for the amount of boat you get too! Great video Nick! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Nice little boat - what an absolute Tardis! ('chayze long', btw) Thanks, Nick.
The ubiquitous Volvo engine, but did I miss whether you mentioned the range? With this type of boat I think top speed isn't important, as you're not likely to be doing much over 4 or 5mph, so the engine is hardly going to be doing much more than tickover revs!
I could see something like this being used on British rivers, then (assuming that you're brave enough!) sailed across the Channel & along a few French or Dutch rivers?
Quite a nice cabin on this one! Love it nick, keep it up!!
It's actually one of the best aft cabins you've shown us with all of the room it has..
Great layout enough power beautiful I could see living aboard this one
very nice boat for the money, great layout
Cool boat. Seems like a 50 footer. Would assume best one to have on a river. Especially to go under bridges.
I don’t know if they are still available, but you could rent these by the week on the River Thames in England
fabulous use of space!
As others have mentioned you’ve done wonders for our perceived wealth Nick as £220K is ‘cheap’! 😂 What a fab boat - that aft cabin is getting on for BIG boat standards, very nice! Shame it’s named after something you sweep the leaves up with but hey ho!!! 😜👋🏻
Huge Thumbs Up ❤️ for this video! Nice affordable boat, perfectly presented as usual.
Thank you @Aquaholic aka Nick😉 🛥️☺️🌅
Thanks for watching!
Another fabulous tour! Nick is just the best there is! BTW It's easy to pronounce chaise longue =. Shez Longuh
Great video Nick, love the aft cabins.
Ahh I don't know about this layout. Its so nice to sit just above waterlevel.
A refreshing change from the normal, having said that you seemed to struggle with the camera work , im available, if required 😉
thank you as always... I feel we are getting closer to my boat ;)
Indeed a very nice and pdactical boat. For sure considering a 37 ft and quite affordable. Good choice I would say.
for a 37 foot yacht their is amazing amount of space and the master has pretty decent head room .... you could possibly use it as a live aboard if it had a freezer installed
and a washer/dryer combo
I see chaise longue is the new miele, lol, pronounced shez long
Shez Whos?
I know it's a camera thing, but that master cabin looks enormous, very nice ship 🚢😀
Love it, its like a tardis!
I went on a similar Broom boat on the Norfolk Broads years ago. Broom do build impressive boats.
