Focus on helping make sure those reparations y'all owe to the Quilombo freed people are paid including all damages done to the once thriving Quilombo towns down there. Leave the native Freedmen here in the United States alone, knowing y'all don't want to fix the racism in Brazil.

I had the pleasure of seeing Zapp perform live. Managed to get my record signed by Lester and Zapp himself. They put on such a show and Zapp did a damn backflip. Towards the end he climbed off the stage and a bunch of us followed him back on stage with the group.

HOW THE FUNK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD IS FIGHTING TO KEEP ITS LEGACY ALIVE IN DAYTON OHIO!
      Stephen StarrJUN 19 2019.
When Dayton’s Funk Music Hall of Fame & Exhibition Center - aka the Funk Center - opened in December 2017, locals delighted in it marrying a proud musical tradition with hope for the revival of a city long down on its luck. Built to celebrate the Ohio city’s reputation as ground zero of the funk world, the center drew volunteers and experts from the Netherlands, Japan and the U.K. and superstar names from Dayton’s 1970s and ’80s funk scene, who pieced together the decades-old instruments, records and memorabilia on display. Tickets to the opening ceremony sold out in days.

They have the same eyes Terry, Lester, Sr., Roger (have to see a photo of Larry ) & other brothers. Lester & Roger - same nose too & lips. So talented, huge part of music history: Zapp. Tragic 1999 yes 😔😪, tragic later of Roger's son and granddaughter...Rest.all...Am honored to have been part (& still am) of their fan base that kept Zapp in prayer & helped keep their performance, creative flames aglow, though God is the ultimate giver of all strength before, during & after hard times, tragedy & hearbreak. Blessings to them. Tremendous ! Never new they owned a construction company benefiting their neighborhood that was Larry's brainchild.

I did not there was an actual Roger & The Human Body album. I have searched on line and never found anything. I first learned of them in the credits on Parliament & Funkadelic albums. Special thanks to Roger & The Human Body. I. Have a DVD of Parliament Live in Houston. During encore Bootsy & other musicians come on stage. One of them is a light skinned brother with an afro. On the back of his jumpsuit was “Roger & The Human Body”.

Old video, first one I watched, but immediately I get the sense Dr.Logan is caring, thoughtful dude. And the way he flosses that album, he genuinely loves the funk. I'm 36, do a weekly online funk radio show myself so "we are keeping Funk alive for the next generation" I'm all about that.
And not glossing over - this was a good candid interview with the Troutman brothers.

Zapp surely was a great group! I especially love to hear Lester talk-he's so bubbly and outgoing, whereas Terry, he's so sweet and so laid-back, and he has a nice romantic-sounding voice! Ih, yes, Lester is sweet too! I'm so sorry about their loss-Roger. May he rest in peace. Oh-there's one thing-how did they do those handclaps on some of their funky records such as 'More Bounce to the Ounce' and 'Dance Floor'? Is Terry the bassist on these records?
