Wow some of these people are beyond selfish and rude. You did an amazing job, I’m sure putting all of this together was no small task thank you for the immense amount of effort you put in for us who don’t have time to re read it right now. I understand constructive criticism but some of these comments are just unnecessary since they don’t offer any suggestion. I know personally I couldn’t do what you did with this video so thank you again. I’ve been listening to the audio book at work but this was so much quicker and easier to follow.

I've noticed some of the ASOIAF community have been some of the most selfish and rude to content creators I have came across on UA-cam. Especially black content creators in the space. Makes you wonder what kind of people are reading these books. It's sad really. If you don't have a fake British accent like some of these UA-camrs are doing or some other foreign accent they hate on you. This guy did a great job.

I finished Fire and Blood a few months ago. One of the best books I've read but sheesh it's sad. I needed this recap before I start Hot D but I wish the show started with Aegon's invasion or a build up to it. I hate to see these dragons die. This music fits the sad theme of the Targaryen family.
That's what I thought too, and then make it like the Crown tv show with actors being replaced every 2 seasons

Probably because of all the mistakes he made, all the spelling and pronunciation errors or the fact that he left out important details while focusing on stuff that's not relevant.

I appreciate all the effort you all put into making this video. But I also have to agree with the people that have complaints, the awkward pauses are super immersion-breaking, had to skip to the HOTD part. And the whole point is to pull the viewer into the story you are narrating so it is definitely very jarring.
Maybe read from the book and try to edit the text/visual afterwards? I’m sure you’ve already worked on this but since this video will get a lot views after HOTD ends and people want answers maybe it’s worth reconsidering re-uploading this? Especially since you really have a good voice for narrating.

Dorn isn't a house. It's region in Westeros. The Martells are house from Dorn. The Tullys are a house from the Riverlands.

Yup that caught my attention too, I really liked Daemon but he scared me when he caught Rheanyra's neck in the last episode, it showed he isn't to be trusted... Not that he was to start with, it was obvious with his personality, but I thought at least he would be always faithful to Rheanyra... I'm disappointed

My theory is that Melisandre is actually Elissa Farman... If you know her story, she ran from Westeros and stole 3 dragon eggs and was never seen again.. except Corlys Velaryon said that her ship was last seen going to Ashai, the shadowland...
My theory is that MELISANDRE (ELISSA+ANDREW=ELISSANDREW) went to Ashai and learned the dark magic of shadows , that's why she can give birth to shadows (Stannis). After that, she went from Ashai to Essos and that's how Daenarys eggs were in Essos, those 3 dragon eggs are the dragon eggs that Elissa stole in the first place, then Elissa(Melisandre) gave herself to R'lhor and became a red priest.
That's my theory, when she had to make a new name for her she mixed Elissa and Andrew and got Melisandre.
What do you think? Trust me, search the story of Ashai, Elissa and Melisandre

If I may make one note there are points in the video where the narration skips like a record. Not sure if that happened in editing. The only other thing that irked me a bit were the pauses in the narration. I felt like those pauses broke the immersion each time it happened.
Otherwise, great job all around.

This is a DENSE book. I’m genuinely surprised people can comprehend and enjoy the firehose of names and places being rattled off. Trying to push through. This definitely helps.
It's very strange when listening to this and there's a random pause every so often in your sentences I realized that's because you're reading from the text haha but just listening it gets wierd haha

So they were all crazy, Aenys, Maegor, Jahaerys, Aegon, Viserys, his children. I've heard that Maekar was a good king because Jahaerys clearly wasn't, peace is important but his treatment of his daughters is wild, atleast Maegor was progressive enough to name a girl his heir, though he was cruel to many people. It's no surprise that the mad king and his second son were completely crazy. And you're right, even before I watched this videos I've always felt that Jahaerys wasn't a great king, he only punished those who were weaker although he did do a lot of good things too but none that might inconvenience him too much, hence he chose Viserys, who was similar only a lot weaker. It was implied by Viserys that Otto Hightower killed his father, please make a video on that, your videos are great.
It’s funny I never saw a Great deal of sexism in the book and if we are going to play by the rules of a society that is comparable it seems that the story might actually actually be more progressive then the historical one It’s just Fantasy what do a know.

Hi. You made an error. During Maegor’s reign it was Aegon the uncrowned and not Aegon II (who was the king during the dance of dragons)

Well it isn't sexiste to call out what the yellow toad did as cowardice in a community that cherish honor and chivalry. She did what was necessary to secure victory, but calling her ways cowardice is not sexiste it's realistic.
Really good video, but the awkward pauses in the narration/reading are a little jarring. It’s better if you ended your sentences rather than pause and wait for the other half of the sentence to appear before continuing.

So Daenerys wasn't first of her name
First of the name Danenerys Stormborn.
When they say "first of their name" it means as king/queen. So she is the first Queen Denereys.
