@@Roger-hu4tk Nah, this is very different actually. This is not just explaining pathophysiology. These are clinical medicine and approach to management lectures.
I am a huge fan since 2016 as well. I watched all of his videos, n i learnt alot from him, however his videos were unnecessarily tooooo long. Im pretty sure he can complete them in half the time.
Thank you Professor ! Can you please try and add in some of your upcoming videos1or 2 examples of treatment/prescription for said illness (with doses )?
Been living with 160 blood pressure since middle school.. in recent times i feel my heart constantly, it's really unpleasant when it starts to act crazy
thnx thnx for u guys u are always so caring and helpful I wish all professors as good as u,I still wish if u can offer Ali pay or wechat pay for students in China.
You never mentioned the most common cause of high BP, high glucose. High glucose damages your arteries which in turn causes cholesterol to form to protect the arteries. Another is excessive weight.
One quick question, what does the + sign with a circle around it mean. Ive been watching your videos for a while now and could never figure it out. - Thank your for all your help
I am 36M 76kg, slim, very active with cardio and resistance training and have a BP of 120/80 and a BMP of 90 at rest. Should this be lower given my activity level? I'm more concerned about my BMP is this a problem?
In 2016, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and my doctor prescribed a beta blocker (bisoprolol). Now, I'm trying to manage without it. In 2023, I made significant lifestyle changes and switched from a beta blocker to olmesartan medoxomil. Things were stable for 5-7 months, but suddenly, my blood pressure spiked to 150-160/90-95. I consulted my doctor, who prescribed losartan potassium (50mg in the morning) and bisoprolol (2.5mg at night), but there was no improvement. Tests on my kidneys, heart (ECO), and thyroid all came back normal. Finally, my doctor gave me a combination of amlodipine (5mg) and atenolol (50mg) at night, which brought my BP down to 120/75-80. However, my resting heart rate dropped to 50-55. Should I continue this medication? Could this lead to heart blockage in the future? Is there a way to stop relying on beta blockers?
After blood pressure medication I develop strong tinnitus, dizziness and nystagmus from the ototoxic meds side effects, how can be this treated? 😢 It's severe, I get ride off blood pressure problem and medication because changed my life style but my tinnitus kills my pacients from 3 months now, please advice ...
Nitroglycerin is only good for emergencies because of how fast vasodilation occurs it reaches max potency in about 5 min. It is also only indicated in cases of angina. HTN (especially primary or essential) is a chronic disease meaning we should focus more on long term control and preventing micro vascular damage.
i am grateful to be living in an era where i am able to access these videos and learn from such a genius and a great person . Thank you !!!
Who knows how many people you helped to become good medworkers and, in return, how many lives they saved . God Bless you.

Is there a reason you didn’t include nitroglycerin in the treatment?
