My Aul lads retired now was a butcher misses the farm and the craic of it stumbled apon your channel n can’t get enough of your father “A dying breed”😂
I really deel for all the farmers on UA-cam. You all work so hard to feed us despite the government's best efforts. And this year the weather too. I tip my hat to you.
Your video is like a breath of fresh air in the UA-cam landscape. The authenticity and genuineness with which you present your content are rare and much appreciated. I love how you approach the topic with a balanced perspective, leaving room for viewers to form their own opinions. Your engaging storytelling kept me hooked, and I was captivated from start

Thank you for sharing the reality in farming , it lets sensible people see the hard work involved, and the reality of farming in a sustainable natural environment. I farmed for a long time , this year’s weather is amongst the worst I have seen. Keep your spirits up the weather will improve it always has in my career.
Sheep alway break your heart especially this year with the hellish weather.alot of terrible stories over here in Scotland. Big losses especially a couple of weeks ago .lambing outside.
My advice sir. Is to go some place and chill and listen to your favorite Celtic punk bands. No kids, no wifey and no sheep. Just you and the dogs chillin.
Glynn , we would get that with Texel breed ewes when they have been put out to lush grass , and the change of diet can do it, put her in and drench her with lots of water in a dark house , was told it could be a white faced ewes photosynthesis reaction. Multivitamin injection would help plus calcium. We could all write a book on ways a sheep wants to die .
seems like you need some more hands to help. any chance of getting someone to help with the amount of sheep you have? that way you can catch a break now and then. tell you the truth it brought tears to my eyes to see so much death, granted it's life but hard to take. we have our own problems but seems like our dogs feel it too. God Bless.
Good grief, you have had a rough time there Boy. Between the problems with the sheep, and the flipping cat weather up to now, my heart breaks for you. You deserve all the good luck you get. You're an iron man.
Swollen ears ewe is something to do with something she ate, it doesnt agree with the liver....antiinflamatory and penicillin for a few days..if you kept her in a dark shed because the light affects them aswell....had a few lambs with it over the years. Cant remember the actual name of the disease photosynthesis or something
Tiny Two is cute Seeing you and other sheep farmers makes me glad we had Holsteins the queen of the dairy Hate losing animals they were always our pets can’t imagine dealing with lambing and stupid sheep with no maternal instinct
Are you getting orf do you think? I vaccinated mine because the stress of adverse weather seemed to bring out orf resulting in mastitis in the ewe when it went on to the tits. You really are doing your best in spite of everything. Glad the horns have their uses. Your efforts never fail to impress with your care. Let’s hope the ewe in the stocks can’t count.
Just watching you must be feeding something with a hi ph is it silage or hay with fertiliser not all used before it was cut.mastitis is a (ph) problem no matter what anyone says
Glynn, thanks for another great and hard working video. When is lambing season complete for you and your dad? Soon, I hope! And praying for the sun to remain!!!
Sorry to see all your issues, but koodos to you for taking it all in stride and carrying on! After all, what else can you do! Better days are surely coming your way! Thanks for the videos!
I would swear that sheep that looked bad but had milk has a Staphylococcus infection. Maybe she bashed herself off something or picked up something that dug into her? Way to keep going the both of you! Glad to see you every video :)
Videos like this are good for the public to see the harsh reality of farming but also makes me feel a bit better as I know im not the only one who's having a tough time of lambing
