never understood the Ludicris slander. truly a pioneer
Luda is still severely underrated people should put some more respec on his name and I wish he would make more music
He's next to Tupac to me! My favs are Fantasy and Splash WaterFalls 🌊 💦
Growing up in the early 00s, Ludacris was the soundtrack to so many middle-high school times. Glad he's still thriving
All the b-roll on mtv shows like mtv cribs
What a time to be alive
I felt that one homie
Facts
Facts. Dude hasn't aged either
Ludacris MOST DEFINITELY understands the assignment. He has never had a bad verse. LEGEND!
deadass
Exactly, like he is #1
I’ll stand on that, 10 toes down
Ludacris is hands down a legend. His music was influential to the culture in the early 2000’s!
My favorite was, “Saturday!”
Bro built different. He deserves all types flowers. Just one of the GOATs
@@orangeslices990Played that every Saturday morning, spiritually 😂
@@orangeslices990yesss also cry babies (oh no) that one has so many quotable lyrics 😌 I just love Luda
@@dudesupremeXabsolutely I wish he would make some more music
I've always appreciated Luda's clear, powerful voice and aggressive delivery as a rapper. Lots of charisma as an actor, too. Talented dude.
I never knew how much I appreciated how clear Luda raps until mumble rap came along 😂😂
He was heavily influenced by Redman and it shows
And he doesn’t think himself so serious like a busts in the videos. His videos were always dope
I grew up listening to him on radio. I remember he premiered his song on his own show during a segment called Rush it or Flush it
@@MfGreezylink?
One of the most underappreciated rappers of his generation. Due to his videos and unique flows people dismiss him when it comes to having actual bars and being a great MC.
Who remembers when he made his theater of the mind album which was a purposeful attempt at showing the people that he had bars that were to be respected? He was demanding his respect. To prove this point, he even featured top rappers of the game back then to show people that he could go toe to toe with them.
Agreed 👍🏿
Nah, i respectfully disagree with this comment!! The opposite is true!
Ur just repeating what Jay Z said recently lol
@@originalJoeKing Runaway Love with Mary J Blige, MVP with DJ Premier, Virgo with Nas and Doug E Fresh…
Luda was on a MISSION
Ludacris deserves his flowers. No artist is dropping even close to this amount of classics, especially on one record.
This man's impact and legacy on rap music cannot be denied.
Everyone talks about other celebs not aging, this dude does not age.
True
💀
Lmao I’m shocked fr, mf ACTUALLY looks the same 😂
Timeless music, timeless videos, Luda ages like fine wine
those west african genes are amazing
He was one of the select few like OutKast that had lyrical drip. And was successful just off skill and not glorification of violence, dope, funny dances. Yet stayed relevant before, during. After, trap, bubblegum, snap and until this day
Agree bro his considered a goat idk what nobody say 🔥🔥🔥
Facts
@@leoroth7769 lol was about to name Move B***h and Slap
Could really make a Part 2 for him. Luda had the 2000s on lock. I was in elementary bumping his albums. He’s in my personal top 5 favorites for sure.
I remember as a kid watching the "Runaway Love" music video and just bawling my eyes out. Him in Mary J. should've won an award for that song.
I love this song
Definitely! It was the most emotional song and video of that year!
I bawled too. So impactful and I never realized Keke was the kid in it until now!
Jerry?
Keep in mind this video still didn’t even include hits like How Low, Get Back, Georgia, etc. Ludacris is a legend and deserves his Grammy status and Walk of Fame star🙏🏽
Saturday (Oh oh)
money maker
It was missed
Splash Waterfalls lol😊
Even some features like Ciara’s Oh, Made you look remix, lovers and friends, the joints he did with Missy Elliott
He deserves every bit of his success. He's got so many bangers it's insane. They didnt even cover half of his tunes!
NO THEY DIDNT COVER HALF OF DISCOGRAPHY..
So glad I grew up in an era with iconic artists with iconic artistic flows & videos like Ludacris, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, & Outkast! I appreciate artists like him so much, one of the reasons why I love music as much as I do now. I’m always happy to see his success and happy he finally got his Hollywood star, much deserved! Also I don’t think I knew that he began his career as a radio personality, I’ve always loved his voice, I can 100% see that!
Exactly
Yasss I remember my mom catching me listening to fantasy and she broke my CD in half😂😭
No one did visuals like ludacris, very unique.
Busta and Missy did before Luda kid
@@h.m.5724 I'm glad I didn't have to say it.
Too bad we never got that video with all 3 of em in it.
@@ReyDaRzaLuda was in Busta's Break Ya Neck video. Missy was in Busta's Touch It video.
@@melvinhhcp3615u a legend in this music video thing
He deserves all the blessings that come his way💯Respect that
Stand Up will forever be one of the best rap songs ever produced. Just makes you wanna rap the whole thing ever single time.
One thing I like about Luda is his positivity. He has a genuine positivity about everything. Plus he's amazing at making music
He had that Missy Elliot-like aesthtic in a lot of his videos and music. Very unique.
More of a Bustah Rhymes
You know you are Ludacris fan when you just hear the sound and you could sing the whole lyrics 😂😂😂🔥
Facts and remember ever word like it came out yesterday
We can rap all his lyrics because he raps clear and understandable lmao
He seems genuinely nice, humble, and down to earth. “Fantasy” was a defining song among the Southern and local rap we listened to growing up. We thought he had such a fun and unique voice and delivery. I remember learning he was a radio DJ and thinking “of course!”
You know he’s impactful when just the intro starts and you sing along word for word every song they showed ❤️ iv always loved how clear & powerful he raps
SO underrated and always loved his style, voice, and lyrics. One of the best of all time!
Pimpin all over the world is a classic too & Holiday inn wit Chingy as well .Luda does have hits for days, can’t deny it.
Blueberry yum yum too
The level of humbleness Luda exudes is a breath of fresh air. He's very well spoken and just a down to earth kind of guy. I remember getting his first cd back in 99 or 2000 when I was 17 and just vibing to his music. Definitely one of the goats
The fact that he writes so well in the car is amazing artistry
Luda might be one of the best lyricist ever. He has bars for days!
I’m Atlanta native. I admit I never bought a Luda album, but he had hits. He did his thang. His hits STAYED on the radio. Of course, me checking out this video is nostalgic in itself.
Luda is so slept on, arguably the most underrated rapper of all time
What are you talking about? He’s never been underrated
@@Khaleel85 He’s rarely mentioned in anyone’s top
@@Khaleel85 When people say underrated, it’s usually a lot of people that don’t understand that concept lol because he is definitely underrated
Between him and Fab
Did you miss the part where he was talking about his Grammy's and other awards? How exactly is he "slept on"?
Ludacris hands down has to be one of the most creative and versatile rappers ever. Not only could he rap & make catchy songs but the videos were on point too.
Listen to missy elliot lol
I love how he's gotten to the point where hes admitting he couldn't handle / didn't actually crave all the attention he was getting early on in his career. He seems so humble and thoughtful! Love ludacris
Ludacris was my childhood theme music. Truly one of the greatest MC ever. Lyrics, radio hits, videos he had them all on lock. Ruled the game for a solid 5 years, maybe more.
Remember went Luda came out 2001,Me and My nephew was chilling he had Luda’s back for the first time”That was me getting inducted to Luda music career.
Extremely underrated, extremely under appreciated! Luda will always go down as being one of the goats! Period!
Whenever someone ask me my favorite rappers, I will always mention Ludacris. I listen to him everyday and for a period of time I listened to "Saturday" every single Saturday. He inspired me to learn my first rap lyrics. For me he is a hip hop legend and up there as one of the greatest
Sticky icky icky icky 😂😂😂❤❤❤
It's amazing seeing how far he's come. Legend. Much love, Luda
Legend. Crazy how all these hits were so close to each other.
He can still make a hit. My first concert was a Ludacris concert back in '99.
Now knowing that Ludacris wrote his best raps while inside his Acura Legend, I can see why the connection to his favorite car was so deep. He still drives it to this day!
Ludacris definitely a top 5 for me.. one of the best to ever do it. so unique.. punchlines are just so different. so many more songs he was featured on that didnt make this list.
Loved his stuff. Also has an iconic voice.
He's like the Rockness Monsta of the South, deep unique iconic voice.
Luda is a proper OG. His discography is legendary. It's a shame they never touched on 'Money Maker,' peak Neptunes and murdered by Ludacris; and HOW could you ignore 'Silence of the lambs!?'
Y’all definitely need to grab more rap and r&b artist and keep this series going
Chicken and Beer was one of my 1st cds I had back in the day. That album and 2f2f changed my life, and I'll forever be grateful
Salute to Luda, he’s an absolute legend. I saw him in concert in 2017, and if I’m not mistaken, he’s the only artist I’ve seen in concert who mid-set, had the crowd yell out various hits and verses they wanted to see him perform. Mind you, this was after he performed a lot of them, I think the only album cut he performed that day was “Blueberry Yum Yum.”
Luda deserves his flowers for sure
idk I remember that song being a hit too
@@darkskinwhite It was a fan favorite song, but in terms of chart success, "Blueberry Yum Yum" wasn't a single off The Red Light District. "Get Back," "Number One Spot," "The Potion" and "Pimpin' All Over The World" were the singles on that album that charted. Fun fact though, the hook on "Blueberry Yum Yum" was written by Future.
Definitely top10 of all time, this man’s style held its own for over a decade before he evolved with runaway love…
The fact that this video is 21 minutes long speaks for itself. Underrated rapper. We need to give him his flowers
Why isn’t Ludacris considered in GOAT debates? Great rapper with versatile flows, massive hits, he was respected by his colleagues
I think the creativity in his videos is similar to Missy's. The two of them made videos that are different and memorable.
He's in my top 10, I always forget to put him in!
@NSoutherland_WellnessMD yeah a male missy
he is top 20. his lyrical rhyme scheme is more basic. as a performer he is out of this world. Noone can doubt his amazing videos and albums.
He isn't considered because he makes club music rather than insane lyricism ..he a song oriented punch line rapper
Who remembers when he made his theater of the mind album which was a purposeful attempt at showing the people that he had bars that were to be respected? He was demanding his respect. To prove this point, he even featured top rappers of the game back then to show people that he could go toe to toe with them.
Luda was my favourite rapper growing up and his creativity and humour in his videos played a big part in who I am. Slap, Act a Fool and Splash Waterfalls are goated!
He takes me back to my high school years. Loved the 2000’s.
I love the excitement he bring through the whole interview, talking about all his songs.
Ludacris has always been one of my favorites. In his peak, his songs were top notch and very few was on his level
My 1st ever favorite artist!! The flow, the creativity, the comedy in bars, the comedy in videos...he had it all. Definitely under appreciated
been listening to Ludacris since high school, and i didnt fully realize how many absolute bangers he has put out until it was laid out infront of me.
Bars , creativity , great actor and so so much more. Complete legend. Love Luda and always will.
Luda is definitely one of my favorites he’s in my top 15 he’s so underrated and unique🔥every song he released was a major hit for the most Part! the most unappreciated artist of his generation for sure, but he’s a 🐐goat in my eyes he put on the south fr fr💯🫶much respect for ludachris🤴🏾
My roommate and I attended his concert in Dallas last weekend with Janet Jackson. During his Dallas concert, he performed the majority of the tunes. We met him and Janet Jackson after the show ended. They're generally firm, genuine people, and I'm delighted I met them both and appreciated them.
I love every song
I saw him in concert at my local fair in Tucson AZ years ago and he was fire. Great concert and so many people there to see him
When I think about it. Ludacris has never dropped a bad single.
This was well made. Luda has so many hits & albums. Incredible to be reminded. Hopefully we get another new Luda album soon
I always said Luda was a force to be reckoned with in his hay day & one of the most creative artists of the past 3 decades
We need a part 2 of this for sure. So many iconic hits and verses that didn't even get covered
"Sloppy seconds" = potential "life changing experience" classic
He made it clear with his Verzuz against Nelly, Luda got HITS for days!!
When was this?
He murdered Nelly
@@SWOTHDRA In 2020 during the pandemic
Listening to his tracks is a time warp to my best years for me. At that time southern rap was very influential through my teenage years and everyone was bumping his tracks. Ludacris should be considered one of the best rappers.
He is considered one of the best rappers in the game. He may not be in the top 10 or possibly top 20. However, anything else after, it's cemented.
spanned my adolescence, nice guy, role model, humble - lot to be learned by the new gen. best wishes to this guy; well deserving of all the success hes had!
Runaway Love really had my mom crying! That was a strong one for them parents out there! Much Love Luda
Most underrated artist hands down! No one ever talks about Luda and it’s a shame man’s dropped classics 🔥
Legend. What a story teller he was with his lyrics
Give this legend his flowers. Happy to see he's well appreciated. He's one of those few that made the whole world love the dirty south and his music was all over the clubs, cars and house parties. Hope to see the same amount of love for Lil Jon on these mixed media platforms one day.
My favorite rapper ! Love you Luda ! ❤❤❤❤ your cadence and word play will forever be appreciated and celebrated!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
One of the most slept on underrated goats of all time!! Crazy bars, mad personality ! Top 10 all time 💯
You deserve all of the accolades... you are one of the greatest & entertaining artist to touch the mic. Thank you for your contribution to hip-hop.
My daughter is a little person and to hear you say that you have respect for them is awesome. It definitely is a derogatory term. Thank you LUDA!!!!!!
Grew up in elementary listening to Ludacris, loved his energy in his bars and music videos. Always have been rooting for him since day 1 and I'm so happy for his success in landing a permanent roll on FF franchise
I blanked that Ludacris was in the top 5 most played rappers in my house growing up!! Nothing but hits 😮💨
Luda is STILL one of my favorite rappers to this day ❤ the hits, the flows, the bars, the animation...lawwd he is so talented
Chicken-N-Beer was the first cd I bought with my own money
been supporting luda since the fist song i heard and hes def in my top 5
Luda has the best album intros of all time, bar none. Every time he came to prove something lyrically. Not to mention the freestyle joints with 4-Ize.
hard to believe he is 45. he looks so healthy and so happy I love it.
He up there with the greats in my eyes. So many bangin hits that was part of highschool years. Hats off to luda for being so different which is part of why he was so great
Runaway Love was such an impact on me because I was dealing with all of that at the time and it helped me to feel heard. Thank you so much Luda..
You can't tell the story of southern rap WITHOUT Ludacris!
Luda is a rap legend imo, huge part of my childhood. I’ll be 26 this month. He was also one of the first rappers I had a crush on lol
Been around since the late 90's...hes near and dear to my heart
I just saw him live and he is amazing . Soo engaging with the crowd
Appreciate this!! Luda is one of my favorite rappers!! Been a fan since “What’s Your Fantasy” and so glad I finally got to see him live at Janet’s concert!!! Also knowing he writes in his car makes so much sense to why his songs are great driving music 😂
I'm going to that concert in 2 weeks. Just wondering how was it?
My whole childhood records! Love it!
I love his uniqueness ❤
Luda is one of my favorite lyricist... Definitely my high school jams on his first album
Luda was a big part of my childhood only realized as I got older tho
Always 1 of my favorites
I miss you Luda! Come back babe!
Ludacris is one of the most underrated rappers ever. Absolutely banging verses, specifically on his cameos. Shame he stopped and just did acting instead.
Facts Ludacris and Nelly came out the same time with classics
Luda, Busta, and Dre are all my favorite hip-hop/rap artists. Turned on to all of it in 2001ish, but they continued to be amazing.
Word of Mouf is an absolute staple.
I'm such a fan and it's such a treat to get this deeper look into his biggest hits. Such an amazing artist!
Chicken N Beer will forever be a staple of my pre teen years. That and Get Rich by 50 were my first rap albums that I would listen to in my room ❤
LUDA IS IN MY TOP 5 OF ALL TIME!!! REAL BARS!!
