The whole Wayans family are supremely talented.
So talented
They truly are!
Yeah A natural talent
Agreed!!!
Predictatext has changed shite to talented on your comment pal
I don't care what anybody says, White Chicks is legendary status in the history of comedy films. It's crass, it's unapologetic, and it's still relevant in today's racial climate. Love, love, love it.
what if it was done by white peoplem playing black people today?
@@againstthepods4316 Most white people do find it hypocritical for blacks to do white face, we just don’t whine and complain about it like they do. Probably something to do with their intellectual inferiority, just be above it and move on 👍🏼

So true.
the Wayans brothers are LEGENDARY. say whatever you want but they're A HUGE part of 2000s pop culture history. that era wouldn't be the same without them. huge fan!

People don’t give the Wayans enough credit, literally every single movie they’ve ever made is absolutely hilarious and they deserve more recognition.
Aqui no Brasil eles são quase deuses
💯💯💯
Agreed 100 percent
I agree with they are dynamos. I just cant believe anyone would not recognize them. I wanna see kim in more stuff.
They try so hard to raise us right too they showed us just because you're in a situation doesn't mean that has to be your situation...

My favorite thing about this interview was Marlon doing a spot on impersonation of Keenan, Legendary!!

It’s so funny😭

He probably mocks him all the time
You beat me to it my friend! Was gonna comment this as well! Great brother love right there! Very funny!
Marlon is a comedic talent through and through, but his role in Requiem for a Dream was so real and well-executed for a serious movie. I need to see Marlon in more serious roles like it.

White Chicks is the GOLDEN EGG of comedy film. The black to white joke is hilarious!!
Why doesn't Marlon Wayans do more dramatic roles because he was phenomenal in Requiem for a Dream.
Either a bad agent or no agent. As he gets older I feel like we’re STILL waiting for him to blow up.
so blackface is bad but whiteface is ok…..😂😂😂
Totally underrated performance
Yes, he was.
One of my favorite scenes in that movie is when they’re in jail and Marlon is holding Jared Leto’s hand in support while the latter was going through infection and withdrawal. It’s such a human moment.
Would be dope if they had a Netflix series called The Wayans, that shines light on everything they had to endure growing up and all their success
That's a great idea.
They all have shared there story many times, you can probably find a lot of them right here. Explore!
Thats a brilliant idea they should do it
Nah, netflix would make them all transgender's who liked little kids.

The way he described comedians doing drama... spot on.
I hate Hollywood for not giving this family the support they deserve!! People wanted (still do) to see more Wayan’s movies!
“I think someone put weed in his green tea”
That brings a whole new meaning to “Green Tea” 😂
Same thought😹 if y’all see a new product on Market called “green tea” with a marijuana-flower logo on it; y’all know Marlon’s words were the inspiration.
White Chicks is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Never fails to crack you up, and I don't think people realize how hard that is. They say it's much harder to make a good comedy than a good drama, and that is so true. They should get all the cred for that. Also, Marlon's performance in Requiem For A Dream - one of my favorite films, period - was fantastic. A huge surprise. He should definitely do more drama.
Didn’t ‘White chicks,’go straight to dvd/cable? If you think it is one of the best comedy’s, you are either young or stupid.
Same. That and ace ventura, hot chick and bridesmaids
I agree with you :)
He did white face, I find it offensive.
@@eldiablo4160 you should protest
I love the way he talks about his brothers and trying to make them laugh. You can hear every ounce of admiration.
I actually came across 'requiem for a dream' about a month ago and watched for the first time, I feel it's underrated. Didn't understand it at first or where the plot was going but by the end i liked the underlying messages within certain parts of the film. It was very surreal. I truly enjoy Marlon's creativity overall, and how he can basically shape or change a character around certain aspects of a script.
One of the most famous movies of one of the most famous Horror directors in modern times is "underrated" loool only in a UA-cam comment section you hear this stuff
@@zacharymutter8432 Think it just matters about audience. Critically acclaimed hollywood is dominated by white film bros and only with the creation of sites like imdb red tomatoes and letterboxd are these films reaching a wider demographic. White people dont know about don’t be a menace and black people don’t know about requiem. So it’s easy to see how someone would say one of them is underrated

His comments on what drama is to a comedian was profound and makes me immediately think of Jim Carrey and Robin Williams when they did dramas and why they were so good.
Its crazy that Marlon Wayans, can both play insane comedy and a very serious drama part.
I'm glad he brought up that Keenan always pushed them. People only saw the jokes, but Marlon and family really know how to grind and perfect their brand of comedy.
Marlon is EXTREMELY talented. You could tell this man was pouring his heart and soul into every scene, and it showed! He has too many iconic characters, and his range for different roles is exceptional. I don't believe Scary Movie would've been as funny without him!
White Chicks is such a iconic legendary cult classic of comedy genius. One of my top faves! And it is so early 2000’s. Love the Wayans, very talented creative family.
