For the Shaving Soap, if you still have trouble to find sticks, try looking in a turkish supermarket, they usually sell Shaving soap sticks from Arko, they should fit. Or, if you are close to the german boarder, look for Speick Soap sticks.
This inspires me to put together my own personal hygiene kit. I hope I can find Legacy historical items to fill it with and a container to put it all in. You've done very well to make it compact portable all inclusive and ntrinsically useful all at the same time. We'll done
Another great video, 'Max'! While soldiers did rough it out while in combat, they were still people and people like to stay clean! By the way, where'd you get that Nivea tin? It's tiny!
Agreed! Soldiers still were human after all. Found the niveau tin on Dutch online market place, it's small but perfectly sized to take one weekends 'dose' of nivea with me.
Very nice video and original presentation of item and all ready important in the soldier package, is it possible to know where are you find the leather case I like it 😉

6:45 we call them Tweezers, if you google Shaving stick you will get the shaving soap for the tube.
@The Grenadier: you are correct, the razor should be post-war, early 50s I would guess or up to the 60s
Yeah something like that. Personally don't mind it but it's a nice thing to improve on in the future
If there is a letter and a number on the underside of the razor, you can date a post 1950 Gillette razor. That ball end Tech should be a sweet shaver!
Fascinating, randomly came across this
Well welcome to the channel then!

They are called tweezers in English.
What’s the brand of the shaving kit ? Or what’s the brand for the leather pouch?
It's a vintage gilette shaving kit. Best chance of finding something similar is online or yard sales.
Thank you very much!
