I know this sounds strange, but it's actually nice seeing a little bit of algae on plants in these clips. When I started out with planted tanks, I tried so hard to have an algae-free aquascape as all the videos and pictures I saw were absolute perfection with zero visible algae, and could never replicate that no matter how hard I tried. It almost made me give up once or twice...but seeing someone who is world renowned like George Farmer with a little bit of algae is a good thing. Obviously his plants are still in perfect condition and anyone is lucky who gets advice from him or the opportunity to work with him. I've since accepted that a small amount of algae is fine (heck, I will let it grow on my back glass and some hardscape for grazing animals), so long as the plants are in good health and don't get overtaken by algae. I've been able to even have buce in direct light without them getting a bunch of algae, so sticking with the hobby has been greatly satisfying.
By far, my most favorite plant of all!! It is perfect in all ways!! It's beautiful shape and size makes it so lovely and there's nothing prettier than seeing it attached to hardscapes, especially driftwood!! I would love to have just a whole aquascape full of it 💚 it is easy and even though it grows slow, it's well worth the wait! I just received my George Farmer aquascaping book!! I have even been showing it off to many in our fish/fam community. I look forward to utilizing my new knowledge along with the beautiful plants like this Anubias Petite in future aquascapes! Thank you George and Tropica for helping me learn about this hobby I love so much! I hope you guys have a very blessed and wonderful week 💚🌿🐟🌿🙏
What's good depends more on the looks you want to achieve and how much maintenance time you're willing to put in. You could have a look through the full plant range and see which one works for you tropica.com/en/plants/
Easy, hardy and very slow. I would recommend you buy all you see for sale at the LFS as they look best anyways in groupings. I don't know how Tropica feels about me telling its viewers to buy all the Tropica Anubias petite you find for sale. They probably agree.🤔
@@MP-wy1eo I know I buy most of my every need at the LFS..but hard to beat the big Petstores for rock bottom prices on common things. Lower than the internet also.

It's my favorite plant, too bad it costs 15$😕 Good video George!
Petsmart sells Tropica plants of Anubias 1/3 that price. Like I wrote- I bought what they had last year.

Which type of tropica fertilizer is needed
Premium Nutrition if you don’t have a high density and growth rate. Specialised Nutrition if you have lots of plants and CO2 injection
I propose you normalise the sound in your videos. Intro music is much louder that the actual video. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the feedback. We will make that adjustment.
