I’ve watched this film probably 20 times now. I cry every time! Whenever I need hope, I remember the monarch butterflies are good medicine. Thank you to those who produced this film with all my heart. The photography, culture, people, butterflies and music are perfectly woven together reminding us how connected we are on this planet. Be kind to each other.
@@vickiecapers280 Thanks for the comment. I traveled with my family to see the monarchs when I was 12 yrs old. It was a rough ride up the mountains. I remember being car sick. Bur after walking up the path and suddenly seeing butterflies all around me, I wasn't sick anymore. Seeing tree branches dripping with butterflies...oh! what a beautiful experience. I can only hope to share that with my daughter someday. With the wonders I have seen, I put the monarchs up there with the northern lights, the total solar eclipse, and releasing baby sea turtles to the ocean. Life is beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome movie! I lost my sister in July 2012. We decided to go to our planned camping trip anyway, a couple of days after her funeral . During our stay in nature, I noticed that dragonflies and monarch butterflies were around almost all the time! And that continued to happen even when we were back in town. But the most special thing about monarchs that happened was when we were driving back home from our camping trip. On the highway at one point, we drove through a huge bank of monarch butterflies! My kids, husband an me were all very touched and emotional. We all said OMG, auntie is not gone, she is still around to protect us!
