Switch games don't take up nearly as much storage and don't need to copy from disks I'm pretty sure, so it doesn't need much. Plus sd cards are much cheaper than an expansion card that costs about the same price as the console
Battery packs are definitely a nice to have. I got spoiled to ps3 and ps4 controllers having rechargeable batteries and those add the functionality for cheap.

I just used a wired controller, it makes my life so much easier. Plus mine has changeable RGB lights and reprogrammable back paddles, and it was only $40. I do have a 750GB storage card, too, so that helps as well.

I found a 4 tb Seagate external hard drive that was 89 dollars.
I use a Wired controller, I have never had to replace it nor have I ever had any issues with it.
Those battery packs blew up my last console controller. Everything in this video besides maybe the terabyte storage device will blow up😭🤣
