@@billburkhart Believe it or not, I downsized from a 5065E. The 5065E was a great machine, but was a bit cumbersome to have near the house, and properly sized implements for it get expensive in a hurry. I live near town on 5 acres and my wife inherited her 100 acre farm that’s about 60 miles away. I currently don’t have a tow vehicle or trailer to move the 5065E and it was going to take a lot of money to get there. By downsizing, I can tow the 2038R with what I have and was able to get a lot of useful implements for the same monthly payment (0% financing but moving from a 60 month to an 84 month loan). @@billburkhart The farmhouse sits in the middle of a 40 acre lot and another 40 acre lot is candy corner to it. Of that 80 acres, all but about 35 acres is underwater of a 126 acre flood control reservoir. The other 20 acres is about a 1/2 mile away and completely wooded except for a 1 acre, spring fed pond. So a 100 acres sounds like a lot, but only 35 is currently usable. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a slice of heaven here in Oklahoma, you can see the milky way overhead at night and it’s nice and quiet. Hopefully all three kids will be graduated out of high school in 5 years and we will sell the house we live in on the 5 acres and move out there.
