Catherine Bach was dating that stunt driver at the time and was hysterical at whut jus happened. I took her into my private trailer to “console” her..., if ya know whut I mean!!!!? After I had my way with her a few times the director and crew were gettin antsy. We were losing the light and the shot had to be made. BIG MONEY 💰 WAS AT STAKE! They were wonderin who gonna do the stunt. I said, “I’ll do it!! Gimme the keys to the spare carr!! “ I did the jump that day, made myself an extra 10Grand AND I HAD CATHERINE BACH! That’s how it go when dealing with a REALLL MANNN like Me! 💪☠️💪☠️💪💪😶💰
Most were 68 to 70 Chargers 318 B unit cars for stunts,The bigger jumps they would mount a 426 hemi in the back seat for balance & speed. Ben Jones Said they wrecked 309 Chargers about 2 cars a show.
a satalite is a plymouth,a charger is a dodge,it would be obvious to anyone with the slightest car knoweledge you have no idea what you are talking about,they are completey different cars

This show is why so many of them have been saved. I’m sure in the long run they saved more of them than they destroyed.
