I am NOT American but live here in France. I frequently get told to mind my own business. I have explained several times that it is my business. The leader of the free world is my business.
Have subbed and now off to see what else you have posted. Bonne journée.

Bonjour! Where are you in France? Yes, I have heard from many people just what you've expressed. This presidency is concerning so many people outside the US. Politics is not the topic of this channel, but it was something I couldn't NOT address. Thank you for being here and for your feedback.

Some people have what I like to call a "flat concept of things". They know what they know and believe everything they perceive, never question what they feel, and so on. They don't have the capability to have a 360 view of things, or the idea of depth, of nuance, of empathy. What they know is the only truth there is, as far as they are concerned... And that says more about their character than anyone elses.

Yes. And, yes. I might not say it's their character that is showing, but their self-awareness. I believe many of these people with "flat concepts" are also honest and good people. They are, however, unaware of their internal paradigms and uninterested in learning. I love the term "flat concept". Good one. Thank you.

I agree with you! That is why they are so afraid of “woke”. They are close minded and not interested in anything outside of what they think. Sheep following sheep.

This video came in good timing. I experience this a lot, even last weekend with my partner. It really is hurtful. Thank you for this video.

Oh dear, I certainly hope my comment didn't come across that way. I personally am rather living vicariously through you, as leaving the US is not an option for me. You will always be an American. I find you very inspiring.

No, no, no! I appreciated your comment. I got a few like the following:
"Sorry, but you chose to live in France. That's great, it's a beautiful country, but because you don't live here, it makes it difficult to listen to you lecture those of us who choose to stay." -- with a couple of "yes!" replies in agreement.
Not a big deal, just made me sit back and think for a minute. I guess it goes with the territory. You put yourself "out there" and have to be prepared for the less aware and/or unkind.
      Thank you!! xo

The first thing I thought of when I saw this video, was the first video of yours that I saw and LOVED the title so much. Embracing the subtle art of not giving a f$&k. Lol! Everyone has an opinion these days and get so bent out of shape so easily. I grew up in a generation where things were not always fair. It is what it is and you deal with it. People bother me. 😅 That is all. Have a great day!!

Ha! People can bother me too, and learning to manage where you give your f*cks helps so much! :-) Good luck!

Awww….love and hugs to you for having experienced that, I’m sorry. I’ve been thinking about this there is a lot of projection going on and I’ve done it myself when I’ve been triggered. Didn’t we used to have more respect for other peoples opinions that were different from our own? We seem to be (some of us) much less tolerant now and there’s also a lot of strong energies and healings taking place that might play a part? Well done on using it as a teaching moment. Love you and love your channel xx

Thank you for this. I do believe we, as a culture, are far less tolerant of anything outside our own purview. Difference are viewed as threatening rather than interesting or something to be curious about.

Thank you. Your video helped to clarify a situation that occurred a couple of days ago in which I felt negated by a friend. Now I understand that she must have been triggered by a something I said and that's why she behaved the way she did. This has helped me to see that situation in a different perspective and to feel compassion instead of anger.

It doesn't matter who the comments came from. Everyone has the right to express their opinion. I have learned that most people that respond negatively, it is usually a reflection of themselves. No matter where you live, if you are an American you still have the right to vote, and your vote matters as much as mine does! Some people just are not self aware, and frankly they don't want to be as it requires inner reflection! 😉😉😉

I agree with you 100%. To look inward requires seeing some things that may not be too easy to see. I get it. Thank you for your note. xo

How DARE you move to another country and offer an opinion! JK.😂 I've been very appreciative these last few months when people in other countries express concern for us or offer good wishes. Some people need to lighten up!
