That was masterfully argued, Ed. You kept it logical, addressed every objection rationally and compellingly, and never allowed yourself to be led astray by sophistry. Kudos!
As always, Ed Winter is unbeatable when it comes to addressing illogical arguments that lack factual basis. Many people express opinions shaped by hearsay, without considering the consequences of their daily choices, especially when it comes to the violence and mistreatment involved in their meals. Ironically, if they were subjected to similar treatment, they would cry out for help. It's unfortunate that we find ourselves in this position today, largely because the majority have not adopted the golden rule: don't engage in behavior you wouldn't want used against you. This responsibility begins with each individual. The UN, for example, celebrates International Day of Peace every year on September 21, with events that include music performances and the symbolic release of caged doves, followed by people hugging each other with big smiles. Yet, many of those involved are also participants in war activities. What’s the point of celebrating peace when the organizers are the ones instigating wars and distributing weapons worldwide? This world needs a major shift in perspective. Peace should start on our plates, not be something we imagine is needed only far away. Otherwise, we expose ourselves to the very consequences we perpetuate. Whatever you participate in today-whether positive or negative-will eventually return to you. Positive actions bring positive outcomes, while negative actions bring negative ones. Thank you, Ed, for the important advocacy you’re doing. Peace and love be with you.
You are an inspiration Ed I am a huge admirer of the way you conduct yourself in any debate/confrontation you have on veganism. We as a community are lucky to have you as a spokesperson and I wish you great health and continued success!

She said "Wait - I'm asking questions as well", as if she had answered his questions. In reality, he had only asked one question, and she never answered it. Yet on she went, like the Titanic unaware it had hit an iceberg. Being in a social majority gives people a staggering level of over-confidence.
Yes I immediately sensed an ego problem seeping through her hypocrisy and convenient ignorance
@@Insight-music Definitely.
Spot on
Well said 👏
you literally couldn't answer any of them questions any better. what a legend, Ed.
Patience of a saint there, Ed. Keep knocking those ridiculous scenarios back, one by one with such resilience. Well done.
amazing animation just to show a radio audio in a better way ❤
Wow, you crushed that ignorant woman's poor reasoning. Well done!
No one actually needs a "reason" that you find acceptable to continue to eat meat. Eating meat is socially acceptable and completely legal. Until the laws are changed making the consumption of meat illegal I will continue to do so. I don't have a problem with people who choose not to consume meat, do whatever you feel is right for you. I just want the same consideration for my eating choices. You feel that eating meat is unethical and immoral so you choose to refrain from doing so, I respect your decision. I feel that eating meat is not immoral nor unethical and I will continue to do so. But vegans would never respect my decision to do so.
@Temulon it's not that we don't respect your decision to do so. Your decision to eat meat isn't a harmless one, there is a victim that was tortured and killed so that you can enjoy something to eat. Rather than vegans forcing their lifestyle onto you it's you that are forcing your lifestyle onto animals. I'd like to think there's a healthy way to discuss this and educate people the meat and dairy industries
‘when murder is legal i will stop murdering’
@@Temulon you're a weak man. "Mummy and daddy said I can, so I'm going to" is the gist of your position. Absolutely pathetic.
@@Temulon Tolerance paradox.
I love how you gracefully dismantled their efforts to lead you into a soundbite 'gotcha' response.
The meat eater got schooled. This was university versus primary. Well done Ed!
Ed, you absolutely COOKED her. I’m extremely impressed with your ability to articulate and debate veganism. It’s true you win every time. Great job
Don't you mean GASSED?
Man it’s good to hear Ed debating again. Absolutely nailed it as always. Commanding, respectful, Socratic, and stern when necessary. Legend

Wonderful work Ed. Thank you for being our voice. I could never be so articulate, informative and calm in such a pressured situation.
That woman gave me Piers Morgan vibes.
I'm totally in awe of how systematically, calmly and intelligently you demolished her position. Absolutely wonderful work, chef kiss
Not just the lady, but the previous person as well and wanting to debate backyard chicken eggs - as though the majority of the eggs he and everyone consumes comes from that. It's very very very important to debate backyard chickens, while going out to the supermarket to buy a dozen eggs, and a bunch of random products containing eggs 🙄
@@hiking1388 I think the interviewer was posing a genuine question to provoke debate, of course he's there to play devil's advocate too. The lady though was pushing an incoherent mess 😂
10:09 "or whatever term you want to use to describe them" lol well done
who said vegans can't cook, Ed absolutely smoked it
goated pfp
@@pisderata 💛
Absolutely nobody said that and you know it lol
@@keifer7813 i envy your blissful unawareness of the general antivegan rhetoric .D
@@HardToBeAPoopGod I see antivegan as well as anti meat-eater rhetoric all the time and never heard anything like that. Seems you're cherrypicking.
Such a dishonest vegetarian. Typical "gotcha" journalism. Well done for sticking to the points and holding his feet to the fire in a calm and rational way.
So true, this idiot picks out the most cherry picked anecdotal example to try and make vegans look like hypocrits instead of actually trying to have a thoughtful and educational debate.
Just got to say thay the production on this video is fantastic. The animation is really engaging.
[08:36] “I’m also [dodging and] asking questions.”
Brilliantly debated as always Ed
Who was the woman that said “I was miserable passing by a KFC because I was hungry” ? Absolutely ludicrous
Right like go home and eat ur beans and potatoes… won’t be hungry anymore 😂
Some weak minded animal murderer
I still miss pizzas with cheese. But that will never make me betray the cows. I'm not vegan because I stopped loving cheese; I'm vegan because I don't want to be responsible for what is going on in the animal industry.
@@imkarciqov 🙌🙌🏾 we get closer and closer every year!!! have you tried the miyokos liquid cheese 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😋 so great just need a very great vacon 🥓 now 🌱🌱
@@vegan-vrking9565 I did have a sandwhich with "fake" cheese once that was amazing. The cheese (I think made from soy) was so good. Even though it's the only time I had delicious vegan cheese it shows that it is possible. Like you said, we're getting closer to having these options available in more places.
You are an absolute master at debating this subject. Thanks Ed.
Again, very strong arguments from your side. Well done
This woman was infuriating. Is she not capable or simply not willing to think abstract?Btw, it's funny how she dodged the gas chamber question and then had the audacity to complain "I'm also asking questions"
So the other guys using the fox or BBC man using a stake as an argument were better? 😂
Love it! Well done as always! 💚
I always have complete confidence in Ed as an advocate for Veganism. He always nails it.
BRILLIANT BEYOND BRILLIANT. Im so in awe how well you handle yourself Ed. It definitely could have went south, but you killed it with education and patience. you make me a better debater and speaker. ❤️❤️❤️ much love!
I sometimes have trouble focussing on just audio, so really appreciate the animation with this! I also found it very interesting to hear these same arguements phrased in ways I haven't before. Thank you as always Ed & Team!
This lady was pure bs. I love how she didn’t get away with it 😅
So the other guys using the fox or BBC man using a stake as an argument were better? 😂
Ed absolutely smashed it!!
As always. 👍
That went amazing (from your side Ed). It's not you against them, it is them against their ego.
Keep fighting, you are an amazing animal defender and you are very inspiring !
You are impeccable with your poise and poignancy in these arguments. Good work Ed
Love the animation and the conversation ❤
You're so good at this it's almost scary. Patient, understanding, respectful, yet straightforward and uncompromising. I don't know how you do it.
I know it's been said so many times, but Ed really does have the patience of a saint.
This was so satisfying to watch 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 the only thing missing is “FINISH HER” *mortal combat voice* at the end
The food I eat as a vegan is more nourishing, adventurous, tasty, and doesn't just rely on the same limited repertoire of body parts. People really exaggerate how much tastier meat supposedly is and it's not hard to recreate animal-based dishes anyway. Caring about animal rights and the environment it's a no-brainer, and the benefits far outweigh the apparent pleasure derived from animal-based foods, especially with the effects meat has on health, I love how veganism makes my body feel.
Limited body Parts? Not really I eat ,a variety of different animals nothing is limited to delicious lambs, brain, baby pigs, kangaroo head, oysters , beef bones, liver , kidney, heart, it's actually limitless
Always impressed by your patience. Hilarious how they thought it was some kind of gotcha to object to the term "gas chambers" for the chambers filled with killer gas, yet refused to propose a different name for them. Loved the animation in this video too!
whoa zeltik jumpscare ???
Fantastic closing point, Ed. Well done as always.
Our boy don’t miss!
I’m always being asked about hypothetical backyard chickens living idealistic lives, your answer was excellent.
Its incredible how fantastically calm and collected you manage to stay in the face of such ignorant and fallacious arguments. You were the reason i turned vegan, Keep up the good fight.
Brilliant video Ed . Such a calm and collective way to totally debunk the non vegans , they didn't stand a chance . You're an inspiration to the vegan community .
Thank you for your work!
Keeping a cool head is so important and sometimes so difficult 💚🌱
" I have questions. Therefore i'm not going to answer your question"
She is terribly disingenuous
He should have said...but you have not answered my question. Or... I will answer your question as soon as you have answered mine.
i got the impression the conversation was abruptly stopped once it got impossible
We love you Ed! ❤
Well handled, I'm glad you exist.
I love your work Ed
That was masterfully argued, Ed. You kept it logical, addressed every objection rationally and compellingly, and never allowed yourself to be led astray by sophistry. Kudos!
I can’t stand when people who cut others off in a debate turn around and loudly object to being talked over as if it’s some rhetorical victory.
Probably the best delivery I’ve heard from you. Thanks for doing what you do!
Absolutely incredible job, Ed🙌🏻
Hilarious how she didn't even answer some of his questions 😂 You're a better man than I am Ed, thank you for persevering with the debate in spite of that.
I think you knocked it out of the park. The mental gymnastics people perform in order to keep lying to themselves is mind boggling. I think your debate/conversation videos are always the best.
Earthling Ed truly the most well-spoken and effective animal activist!
amazing job, I especially enjoyed how you steered the first egg eating argument back to reality instead of just saying "yeah, all of egg eating is wrong", which would dissuade a lot of people
“You’re using the phrase gas chambers to evoke memories from the past”….I’m using reality young lady, what are they if not gas chambers?
she also ignored the question of "What are they then?" which was weird, because she didnt want to respond to that? Even though she brought up the point, it's just confusing
@@shockwave8238Yep. What Ed did to her is the philosophical equivalent of disarming someone of their gun and then pointing it at them.😂

Phenomenal job! I'm going to order your book so I can have better conversations with friends and family.
Every argument you make is gold.
You killed it! I wish I was as calm and collected as you are when arguing with people about veganism 👊🏻
What an incredible performance, my hat is off
Another one extremely well handled Ed. Always a breath of fresh air to listen you hold yourself with intellect and integrity 🙏🏻❤️
The refusal to answer what you’re supposed to call chambers full of gas if not gas chambers was WILD. “I feel it’s emotional to call them gas chambers” like that’s supposed to be our problem and not HERS FOR SUPPORTING THEM. Meat eaters are unreal. No accountability.
There's a particular group that has tried to corner the market on suffering and they don't want any other groups to have their own suffering acknowleged out of fear that it will detract from what they claim to have gone through. They have done this in regards to the holodomor and unfortunately it has spread throughout society to the point where this clown of a woman is doing that against the animals.
Trying to fool herself
True , meat eaters are egoistic people who are selfish
Bravo! Your poise, coherence, and message is spot on.
No pleasure is worth a victim
Says only the people with integrity. Try to tell that to the great horde of addicted hypocrites. Good luck. When their justifications fail, as they always do, they simply go mute and call you crazy. Because the great horde lacks integrity. You would be hard pressed to find one shred in the entire cesspool. Namaste
The haters are going to use this phrase but with a comma
It most definitely it worth it
Except in the case of this video, where I derived significant sensory pleasure from listening to the victim lose her argument
