Brian wrote this for his voice. I always thought that he should of gotten to sing this live. No offense to Freddie. I love the studio version with Brian singing
Do it... Go on... You won't regret it... Make the Brian sings Queen album... Do it! She Makes Me (Stormtrooper in Stilletoes) Some Day One Day '39 Good Company Long Away All Dead All Dead Sleeping on the Sidewalk Sail Away Sweet Sister (to the sister I never had...) If you want to, add April Lady (by Smile) and No One But You (only the good die young) Go on... So Good!
Love this song...when I'm more mellow I listen to Brian's.but usually, and especially when I'm driving I Always go with Freddie's live version...his voice is just so powerful....Queen are amazing! The most versatile band ever!
Listen to the studio version of this as well. Brian's lead vocal and Roger's high backing vocal make this song gorgeous. There are so many great tracks that were not singles. News of the World and Night at the Opera are packed with them as are most albums. Seaside Rendezvous is extraordinary. Sleeping on the Sidewalk and Good Company are great songs by Brian. I saw Queen in 1977 and they were phenomenal. When they came to the front to sing '39 was my favourite part so we could see Roger! Freddie was incredibly charismatic in person. I didn't like the Stones live either. I saw a lot of concerts in the 70s because the tickets were only $10.00! Love your channel.
My favorite song by Queen is Spread Your Wing and Fly Away. Love, love, that song. Don’t know if you know this, but Queen got an award for band of the decade at the end of the 80’s. They were the greatest while Freddie was still around. They all were great, they were just a very good band. But Freddie made them shine.
Oh no but I’m glad you uploaded it again because I really like this reaction video. The guest you can tell loves rock music and it comes through. His knowledge of music is great and I can’t believe he was at a Queen concert in the 80’s he looks so young. I hope to see him again as a guest.
I REALLY enjoy seeing you two watch the video together and being able to banter about it; I hope your brother-in-law can Guest Host a lot more in the future!
Roger tiene una Pandereta. Esta canción la canta excelente Freddie, pero me gusta más cuando la canta Brian, la hizo para su voz👑🌠 saludos desde Uruguay 🇺🇾
PS: Freddie does change the lyrics a bit whenever he sings it...maybe to differ and leave his mark while leaving the original for Bri...if u hear Bris version live nowadays you notice he keeps the one as he wrote it.
I was thankful for that when I saw them with Adam at the 02 London. I agree with you and also with another comment that Bro should have sung it with Queen throughout. Maybe he didn't have the confidence.
Brian was not a confident singer during the Freddie years, which is understandable when your main guy is Freddie. The fragility and vulnerability of his voice on all of his lead vocals of bona fide Queen songs, for me, are what make those few songs so special. For his first (proper) solo album in '92 he took lessons. For me, I prefer the pre-lesson voice, in spite of the fact that he did actually achieve much more power and control after the lessons.
Freddie didn’t write this song, it was Brian. They all put in the work lol. We will rock you was written by Brian May, I want to break free was I think John or roger and more songs were written by different members. There are so good and talented
One of my top five at list......ohhh I think Freddie is so 🔥🔥🔥 in that ballett-dress or what i shoul call it, great great song......lol......what about Johnny Winter Sassy and Hank.......he is marvelous he’s ranked as nr 9 to the best blue-guitarist ever PLEAS try........😊
Sassy Ocampo oh yeah he’s soooo awaysome.....I can recomend Still alayw and well, Meantow blues, concert from Denmark -87? And Old taste wiseltest -79.......now I’m not sure about name of the last place. But you find it on UA-cam good luck to you and Hank 🥰
I love seeing this live but prefer Brian’s vocals. I love the one where roger goes “Yeeee haaaa”. Right at the beginning. He’s so cute.
Hammersmith ‘79 was a great concert!

In later years, Brian began singing a verse.

Thank you Jasmin,
It was a lot of fun. Sassy does a great job and you can tell she's real passionate about Queen and Freddy.
You are so blessed to have seen Freddie 😊

Let's hope there are no more "Accidents" 😁
You need to listen to it with both headphones
yes, hot Roger! I agree!
Great song!!
Polish 303 Squadron aficionados also like the setup, as do Mumford and Sons
React to hyde park and the original, in hyde park roger’s falsetto is really good, brian singing is good too

Haha I know it's a year late but to explain 5:55 it's about time dilation and relativity in space

Yeah Roger always sooo hot 😍😍🤤🤤🤤
Ya know... if you're askin about different bands... No one is doing the scorpions. they have alot of good music.
Yes, one of those rare European bands (German) which 'got' the whole soft rock thing. Very good band.
No maracas, Pandero o Pandereta in Spanish
