Pete Thorn is an incredible guitar player/musician. I'm not only sold on the wah pedal, but more inspired to be a better guitar player by Pete Thorn's incredible guitar playing.

I have this wah. It's awesome. I never cared for dunlop wahs but this one is cool! Stock it comes with a huge sweep. Fully adjustable to boot.

I'll say it again and again... Man, that timing is incredibly perfect.
One tip for those who do adjust trim pots: make sure the original factory positions are marked. Not all come that way, but a fine-point permanent marker usually does the trick. You might want to do this even if you don't plan to tinker with the them.
Without a scope you will never ever get the settings bang on to how it was set up

really great demo and excellent playing as always...also, really nice bass playing and thank you for mixing the bass up in the final mix, sounded great. I know you don't make your demo songs with bass in mind, but your a good bass player and it's nice to hear it finally!

Not a fan of John Petrucci but DAMN this things sounds awesome! The low-end is just insane and like Pete said it has very 'talk-box-like' qualities to it. Nice work Dunlop and nice work Pete - very enjoyable.

Nice demo Pete. The pedal was really enhanced by your composition. During the mix it sounded very versatile. When singled out, it sounded much more niche. Agree, completely, with the talk-box reference. Frampton Comes Alive came to mind with some of the tones. Would not have guess it from a wah.

Ehh it has a built eq after the wah inside which is shaping the sound, a jcb65 with any 5/10 band eq would do the same. But I wish their other pedal had these dark chrome finish!

Watch Ryan Bruce's demo. When he does the section with no backing track and steps on it, you can hear it take the clean channel and add tons of gain and growl.

Love the tune, but I just don't dig the wah as much as everyone else seems to. : / I do like that it's basically the rack wah, (sans rack) but I don't care for the stock settings. Hope to try one in person though... Maybe it'll change my mind.
How would you compare the JP Wah vs the EVH Wah?

I can't remember what I used exactly but I may have used my Bondi SickAs overdrive to boost for the lead parts... and probably my Cali 76 compressor for the funky clean. The rest (tonally) is just my PT100 amp
