Great overview of these shoes. I recently switched over the Altra’s also. Overall stability and comfort won me over. I now own and use a total of 4 shoes, 3 are Altras and 1 is a New Balance (wide size for more toe box room).

@@Decisions4u I got a second pair too. I wish I would’ve started running in these so much earlier.

@@SidwellAdventures I have the Altra Via Olympus 2, Torin 7 & Experience Flow and like all three. The only non Altra I have is the New Balance Fuel Cell Propel v4 wide 2E. I used to like ASICS, Adidas, Brooks, Saucony, until the Altra toe box & zero/low drop won me over.

@@Decisions4u That’s awesome! I’ve looked into some of the faster Altras like the Escalante, I used to like Saucony’s and Nikes.

Not even joking when I say that I wear these while riding my Kent Trouvaille! Had a pair of Torin 5’s for 3 years and still going. I have the thirteen wide of the Torin 7’s and love them. Great running shoe! Awesome vid bro. Keep’em coming.👊

Are they good for mountain biking? I've been trying to find a decent pair or wide MTB shoes and the best I can find is the Adidas Five Ten.

@@andrewhasanameThey’re really not meant for it, they’re running shoes. Getting a good pair of MTB pedals and a flat like a converse is the better way to go, and probably cheaper too.

@@SidwellAdventures I would if I could, my feet don't comfortably fit in converse without oversizing them.

@@andrewhasaname I would just make sure to get a hard sole shoe, so the pedals don’t tear up a foam soled shoe not meant for MTB.
