daklar is such a salty nerd that he doesn’t even recognize that random players deserve utmost respect. you need to know several build orders for every matchup, need to know unit counters for all matchups, etc etc, all for the most minute advantage that is lost in the first minute if you scout.

There was a time when I was getting annoyed with how many mirror matchups I was getting so I started playing Random. My first 3 matches were all mirror matchups so I think the SC2 Gods just wanted me to get good.

That, and I could fuel them with so little effort, even dumb things like a question mark 5 seconds before I attack so the guy is typing when my attack hits. Thank you for this episode Pig, it was very nostalgic for me.
I have been in Terras position before. Beating someone who complained about my all in. Then I get them again next game. They shit talk. I lose almost everything to my first push but scare them into staying home because of a proxy hatch + spine. And have to do a defensive all in (with a burrow roach ambush). Didn't get called a racial slur at least but it is the european server lol
the last one wasn't dumb at all. Not rushing forward either not trying to siege but ambushing is a very unconventional solution. It's actually strategic. On the other hand Red Terran was all about dogmatic playstyle with zero brain tension. So very well deserved win
Something that REALLY gets me salty are the may random players who will instantly leave in a zvz. This will lower their MMR artificially and they will be in an advantage in all other matchups. How big of an issue this really is (leaving every 9 game) I do not know, but it still gets to me. Logical, not really, but it feels like cheating big to me. lol
I mean, it kind of IS cheating though isn't it? It's not outright mechanical cheating, but players who instaleave to tank their MMR are cheating the system and finding ways to farm ego points for wins against opponents below their actual skill level. Plus its just really annoying when you want to just play and learn and get better and some dude instaleaves and artificially inflates YOUR mmr.
Reaper expand in TvT is absolutely ok to play on all levels, you just need to get a bunker every time unless you scout them doing reaper expand. It's hard to hold cheeses but it's doable.
@@VengeanceSinX nah, but you should absolutely put your 2nd depo at the jump spot instead of at the ramp, so you can know if anything is jumping up. You HAVE to scout with your 16th SCV at the latest, so you're gonna know if they're proxying or not pretty quickly. (and the guy from the video did not lol) If you see nothing in their base, you need to start a bunker near the cliff, float your natural CC to the main if it manages to finish, pull 3 SCVs with your initial reaper and guard the jump spot, while making marines from your barracks after 1st reaper. It's fine to lose some workers because of the 2nd CC, so keep your combat units alive at all cost. At some point you'll have enough marines in the bunker and hellions producing from the factory to hold. They can still outplay you, but that's just part of the game. Now, pro players wouldn't even build the cliff bunker and still be able to hold it sometimes, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. This works vs masters players just fine. The usual outcome is, they kill enough SCVs to make the game equal or slightly unfavourable, and you just play a normal game from that point. but Reaper Expand can definitely give some nice advantages vs regular factory expand builds, because it's hard for them to punish you if you build that bunker at the front.
If someone has an advantage playing random that just means their MMR will be higher and they will be matched with better players. The MMR still makes things fair, even if there is an advantage.

Hate speech isn't actually a thing in many places. A lot of countries/platforms just laugh if you complain about "angry speech." Sounds like something a kid invented, which, seeing the way it's used, it basically is. You should ban people for bad behavior, not some weird made up category of bad behavior.
